Here's my opinion on the DOGE cuts…

either DOGE was not being truthful about their findings, or, the Pubs were too weak to put them in the BBB. Either way, it's not good.

it's both and you can't cut a trillion dollars from the budget unless you cut entitlements. Then you will need to raise taxes on everyone, and use those two to pay down the deficit.

It's a math problem x + y+z = yearly spending. X is discretionary, y is entitlements, z is debt service. X has a ceiling, y keeps going up and is protected by a promise from Trump and z keeps going up.

I don't understand your point. We don't have a pile of magic beans sitting around. Real work has to be done to reduce the deficit and spending. Little of that has been done. I want accountability not smoke and mirrors. DOGE has over promised and underperformed massively

DOGE can go but so far. Truth is, the so-called GOP-run Congress has to step up, tell the commercial lobbyists to get lost, and reduce spending, something it's never been willing to do.
