These drug smugglers are such a threat to the US that if we don't kill them the first time, we just send them back home interesting strategery.
The only thing left for us to do is come out with a public announcement about how much assistance we received from those two individuals. Things will take care of themselves at that point.
Those guys who are in those boats are so low level they no absolutely nothing.
How do you know that?
Because they are typically told to get on the boat or their family will be killed.
Again sir, how do you know that?
Its in books, articles, podcasts and documentaries about the drug trade. You think high level drug traffickers are in these subs? Laughable
So you have no real experience, got it.
No sir, I do not believe high level honchos are in the sub. But….these guy in the sub know where they got on the boat, right? They know who pays them. They know how often these boat go out? They know how fast it goes, how it was made? Where it often goes? Etc?
they are blindfolded and led into the jungle, loaded into the boat and told where to go or their families die. They know nothing. You are underestimating the sophistication of these operations.
For every one boat you blow up, 20 get to their destination. The blown up boat and crew are part of the process. It's treated like a lost FedEx package.
This is all for show and not an actual cohesive strategy. It's DOGE for drugs. Hell you guys think all these drugs just come from Venezuela because the administration wants to invade Venezuela.
The bolded part speaks to the need of these operations, right? Once we take this serious, the drug lords will get more violent, thus, the need to go in and destroy them completely…
You're correct, Venezuela is only part of the problem; however, we need to start somewhere. You may be correct, this is all for show… that said, doing nothing (or close to nothing) is a very common trait of the Federal Governments actions towards the drug trade in the US.
I really do hope it works, but I'm a realist and Trump is going to have to invade most of Central and South America and kill a lot of people to"end the drug trade".
Hokie, even though I'm a Trump supporter, I also realize that making substantial change is not a likely outcome, regardless of who's is office. It's the emotional aspects of politics that gets all the attention as those become the emotional arguments. Now, some of the emotional things are important to me as they set a cultural precedence in our society. That said, those cultural things don't move the needle with our economic picture; however, they do set a picture of how our people are.
As far as invading Central and South America… I'm not going to be a fan, at all. Intercepting the drug trade in international or our waters, as well on the land is where I want to fight this. Not on their land mass…. Also, I think saying killing a lot of the people is a little forward thinking. That world is never going to stop as next in line will always be there; so, controlling our waters and borders is our true recourse.
