You're right, it's ridiculous. President Trump should embrace the comparison to Hitler, a man responsible for the deaths of 10 million people. Fascist, Nazi, dictator….etc. This kind of continuous inspirational speech could inspire the leftists radicals to try to assassinate him or others one day…

The Consevatives need more people like the poster who threatens legal action against people who talk smack on a message board like a dog needs more fleas!

I'm guessing living rent free like Trump does in his head makes him feel good since he has his entire life!

The left has FA now it's their FO moment!

Nobody cares if he embraces it.

Nobody definitely cares whether or not he likes it.

It's not his job to embrace it or like it. It is his job to uphold the constitution, and that means even protecting speech that he doesn't like.

And I'm sorry but he owns *some* responsibility for his actions that get called into question this way. He is VERY CLEARLY not Hitler, nobody is.

But you simply cannot ask people to brush off and disregard how very alarming it is for hundreds of millions of people around the world to see his fawning attitude towards murderous oligarchs; his clear autocratic tendencies; his clear Narcissism; his years-long assault on our electoral system; and his encouraging a riot intended to disrupt the certification of a free and fair election that he lost.

American Presidents simply do not do that. They have never done that. It is gaslighting to act like those behaviors aren't unheard of historically or that they don't feel jarring and completely un-American. That is never who we have been on the world stage, not for over 200 years.

They scare people, and that's not some crazy reaction. He behaves far more like an autocrat than any past American president and it's not even close.

So does crying wolf help? No, but we can't act like he's a sheep getting called a wolf.

He ain't acting like Gandhi and then mystifyingly getting compared to Hitler.

I actually agree with this. I would hope most everyone would. It's clearly destabilizing for our country to have non-citizens in it that celebrate political violence or unrest.

The devil is in the details; this does not mean that someone should get kicked out out of the country for simply expressing a political opinion, or support for ending the war in Israel, or expressing dismay at the humanitarian conditions in Ukraine or western Russia. This interpretation doesn't need to be unreasonably heavy-handed and would obviously need to be adjudicated through appropriate legal channels.

But yeah, if they're nakedly celebrating political violence, Bye Felicia.

Personality-wise, he acts a lot like Andrew Jackson, which is a good or bad thing depending on who you ask.

No sir, you own it. Your side owns it. Your hate speech just got a good man assassinated.

Civ you're a good man but a dying breed. When all the old school are gone there will be nothing left but the radicals.

Did anyone try to assadsinte him…twice? Was he labeled Hitler, dictator, called a Nazi day in and day out?

Heck, I felt sorry for President Biden. I disagreed with him but I never cheered for his death. Did you?

You should know by now that I don't cheer for anyone's death nor do I have patience for ridiculous rhetoric from both sides. Don't call people Hitler, unless they kill millions of people because of their actions, nor should we condemn 1/2 the country for extreme views that don't necessarily reflect their own values.
