Rocky morning for sure. Everyone stay safe.
Hope everyone is okay. It was a bit wild for a little while but has mostly settled down now.
We woke up about 4:30am because the toddler was crying and decided to go ahead and get the kids up and move downstairs. We're in Charlotte and the band with the severe t'storms and tornado potential was supposed to come in the 5-6 range. It got pretty windy out at some points but it's beautiful out now, nice and sunny and already getting warm. Too bad we can't go anywhere.
I've had several large branches come down in the yard behind the office here in Edenton. Getting wind gusts in between 50-55 mph.
Tornado touched down about a half mile from my grandparents home in Jacksonville this morning.
Heard a few trees break and fall around the creek behind the house when the storm moved through. Other than that, everything seems fine here. Windy and overcast now. Hope everyone is safe.
Hope everyone is doing okay. We were lucky here.
I was at our warehouse in rocky point when the storm blew through. It was as bad as I've seen it rain and wind wise

We were very lucky in Wake Forest. Heavy rain, gusty winds but that was about it.

Looks like a rain event here in central NC. Didn't cut the grass this weekend and will most certainly regret it later.
