I thought Novy looked good at first when he filled in for Mchugh when he was hurt. He fits in better there defensively imo.
I thought Novy looked good at first and third. Very athletic for a big boy; think he could play either.

Many years ago, I watched his Dad, Matt, taking BP at Doak Field, with a wooden bat (Tom Holiday was coaching at NCSU then)…. when he hit the ball, the crack sounded like a rifle going off! I thought every ball he hit was going to bounce off Lee Dorm. I'm not exaggerating, the sound when Matt Holiday hit the ball was unbelievable!

Day 1 of the draft was never a concern for those two kids.

If they haven't been picked by like 4 or 5pm today, then there's a glimmer of hope. The top 10 rounds should be done by then (if my math is correct and it's probably not lol).

I was surprised watching last night at how fast the selections were being made between picks.
