Take out the 2021 team which was an absolute all timer, very few teams will ever be better than that one. I didn't look at 2020 either b/c of covid, obviously, but..

This years team (coming into today) has a higher batting average, slugging %, on base % and struck out less than the teams from 2019, 2022, 2023 and last year.

If you want to say this years team has the worst "clutch gene", whatever, I'd just roll my eyes and move on, wouldn't have said a word. Did those other teams have some bigger star power? Sure, I guess but this team isn't a terrible hitting team.

Never mind we also played the weekend without our best hitter in the lineup, might not've changed anything but that hurt. Novy did his best to fill in but McHugh is a dude you're gonna list out one day in a couple years. He's fkn good.

Was this weekend one of the worst hitting displays? Man I wouldn't even try to disagree with anything about this weekends performance. It was piss pitiful.

With our lack of commitment to facilities and nil, I'm actually terrified of what the future for baseball looks like post EA, whenever that is. I hope it's not soon because it's likely to get ugly after he goes.

That is the recipe for this team. Get SVD into the pen and move Namce to the rotation and hope guys like Dexrisxio and Frassman heat up and McHugh gets healthy.
