Hard to win when the top 4 guys in the lineup are 1-17. Top of the order no-showed.

Where are the effing bats? You're going up against the worst pitching staff in the ACC and this what you do? With 1st place and trying to host on the line?

It's why Avent hasn't won the conference in all these years…
The ball was put on a tee for this team and this was the result. Unc of all teams was doing their part to gift wrap the regular season title to ncsu.

I actually don't think they will. They've scored 5 runs in 19 innings and Heath keeps the ball on the ground.
We've checked their offense perfectly but the 8.12 ERA is too much to overcome
I'm not sure why anyone is shocked. Avent and everyone said this was not a good hitting group coming in. They are what they are.

Avent is very much "My guy is better than yours" when it come to pitching, followed by "We missed our spot there and he made us pay."
I have said for years his non analytical approach drives me crazy. At least we are shifting now.
