A Mak carrying the team!

There are people saying NC State should have issued an intentional walk with runners at 1st and 2nd, thus loading the bases?
EDIT: In the second inning?
There is almost no difference between bases loaded and 1st/2nd with 2 outs. Get the out and it's no harm no foul.
The batter after Caglione is not a threat.
It would be like Florida walking a better Alex Makarewicz to load the bases in order to get Drew Lanphere at bat with 2 outs. Why is that hard to believe?
Yeah I don't get it LOL. Maybe we shoudl be scared of Ashton Wilson instead of himClePack said:James Henderson said:We'll be okay, we just struck him out!ClePack said:Rob McLamb said:

Yes. And they should have.
Avent himself said he was terrified of cags. And he let cags beat him
I actually can't see the argument for not walking cags. Like, at all
Please forgive me y'all. That was long-hanging fruit. I could not help myself.Rob McLamb said:
Dummy should have walked A-Mak.
I'd be considering it at this point. Especially with what's after Cozart.gopack_83 said:

Yep, does'nt have to be a guy with Lanphere's pedigree, just not Cags.wilmwolf said:kbdavis33 said:Announcer: "I don't think Kentucky or Tennessee would have pitched to him. They just know."Rob McLamb said:Wowkbdavis33 said:100%, and don't think it's even questionableRob McLamb said:

Was Drew Lanphere the MVP of the regional? The guy after him is much less of a threat than Cags, but that's too much hyperbole.

Is cozart that slow or was he jogging until he bobbled it?

Every single seems to be "Avent sucks" here recently. Theres 7 more at bats for the pack in a 3 run game. Was Sullivan an idiot for starting Caglione? Lol
Dom was gonna have to give us a start either today or tomorrow. Avent said he thought Dom gave us the best chance to dominate their lineup and that showed early, fell apart in the 2nd. Giving Whit the ball here is the right move obviously.
Math just changes and Coop starts tomorrow if you win
Just insane. You can't feel comfortable taking anything at this point.wilmwolf said:

And James is leading the firing squad. Typical.

Agree. I am yet to figure out his strike zone. It has been all over the place and very random. He seems to fall for a lot of catcher framing.wilmwolf said:

Most catchers aren't known for their blazing speed down the base paths.I40Wolf said:YesWearestate13 said:

Does his strike zone have bikini-clad Latin women at the bottom of it? I'd swing at that.wilmwolf said:

Butterworth literally has 1 of 3 RBI's in this game lol. Sosa 1/2 with a BS strike 3 call. Soles has been great all post seasonM_A said:
Really feels like the order is Soles through Cozart and then it just dies. We managed to get some production from the other guys against Georgia but it's tough
Rob, you found any good clubs in Omaha?Rob McLamb said:Does his strike zone have bikini-clad Latin women at the bottom of it? I'd swing at that.wilmwolf said:
