Great job by the guys tonight. Lots of clutch hitting and some awesome pitching from Jason Parker, who was magnificent, and David Harrison finished them off.

Hope we didn't use up all our runs, but I think we are going to be ok. Winning breeds confidence and this team is very confident.

Let's win the series tomorrow then worry about Sunday after.

This team has none of the bad habits from prior State seasons.

1. Pitchers throw strikes. Get ahead in the counts. Seems like way fewer walks, HBP's, and wild pitches.

2. Batters appear to be more patient. Making the opposing pitchers work hard. Getting good hitting counts. No longer wildly swinging at balls.

3. Seems like fewer errors and overall solid D. Fewer mental errors.

I like our approach so far. Short leash, if u get in trouble. Next man up. We are building some really good pitching depth and I'd rather have that than 1 ace, where u have to hope he wins every weekend or you're screwed for the series. Also, our approach sets up well for post season play.
