Near the end of this interview (@ 6:25) with Napoleon after the finishing 9th at the World Championships, she confirms that she will definitely be running cross country this fall, and says that the team "has really big goals" and "we're going to get the job done at NCAAs".

@Wolfpack_TFXC opened its 2025 season with a statement, as the women's team won the Adidas XC Challenge and the men placed third.

The Wolfpack now looks onward, racing next on Oct. 3, with one group competing in the ECU Pirate Invitational in Greenville and another at the Sean Earl Loyola Lakefront Invitational in Chicago.

The NC State cross country team will return to action this Friday, Oct. 3, in Chicago, Ill., at the Sean Earl Loyola Lakefront Invitational and at The Dill Family Foundation Invitational in Greenville, N.C.

Gapes looking strong and Michalak is a pleasant surprise. Looking forward to seeing Hartman and Napoleon with the team. Would have finished 1-2-3-4 with them in it. Need a fifth to step up. One of the transfers maybe?

Placing four runners in the top 10, @Wolfpack_TFXC women claimed the title at the Sean Earl Loyola Lakefront Invitational.

The Wolfpack men finished 11th, while additional athletes competed at the Dill Family Foundation Invitational.

Next up, the Wolfpack concludes its regular season with a pair of events on Friday, Oct. 17. The Pack will send runners to both the Nuttycombe Invitational in Madison, Wisconsin, and the Panorama Farms Invitational in Charlottesville, Virginia. Following those races, postseason competition will begin Friday, Oct. 31, in Louisville, Kentucky, for the ACC Championships.
