Look at the Size difference between Trumble and his foe.

If there was a 225/ 240 division Trumble would be great. Just so much weight to give up.

That knee brace doesn't look great either.

Great win by IT. He battled through it and won to make AA. Great for him. Hope his knee is ok.

Trumble fought through the knee injury for the win tonight.

IT fighting through the pain. Up 3-0 at end of the first.

Trumble vs Trephen for a chance at 3rd place. Got to think that Trephen is going to come in motivated. He got bounced for IT.

Adding to the history book, Vince Robinson advanced to the NCAA Championship Friday night, making him the first-ever 125 pound wrestler in NC State's program history to do so. Robinson, Matty Singleton, and Isaac Trumble each earned All-American honors for the first time in their careers.

The last time a lightweight for the Pack was featured in the championship match was Michael Stokes at 126 lbs in 1989 at the NCAA Championships in Oklahoma City.

On his way to the championship match, Robinson defeated No. 12 seed Dean Peterson of Rutgers and No. 8 seed Sheldon Seymour of Lehigh, each wrestlers that he earned victories over earlier in the season.

In the consolation bracket, Matty Singleton at 174 lbs and Isaac Trumble at 285 lbs continue their tournament time tomorrow to determine which place on the podium they will claim.

Ed Scott fell to No. 5 seed Brandon Cannon of Ohio State to conclude his career in a Wolfpack singlet. At 184 lbs, Dylan Fishback came up just short of earning his first All-American honors when he lost to Silas Allred of Nebraska by decision in the blood round.

After training in the same wrestling room for 4 1/2 years together, Trumble and Trephan will face each other on the national stage tomorrow morning.

The two were roommates, training partners, and Cadets in Army ROTC.

Is there anywhere that showed what the HWs weighed in at each day? I would love to see the weight differences between Trumble and the other HWs.

They never put that stalling point on the board so I was very confused how the score went from 3-2 to 3-4 in our favor until I read it on Twitter.

Good for Trumble who will wrestle for third later.

Gritty win for Trumble. Got a stall point and riding time point for the win. Just looks like he has no explosiveness to take a shot.

No Trumble will go for 3rd Trepan will go for 5th I think.

Will face Schultz from ASU for 3rd place

In the Team scores we are now in 9th place (41.5 points) VT is in 11th with 40 points.

VT has two 5th place and a 1st place to go.

Going to be a tight finish to see who ends up in the top 10. The team point they took from us last night for VR throwing his head gear could be big.

Trephan was a member of the Pack for 4.5 years before transferring to Lehigh. We are proud of all that he has accomplished in his career. Owen was instrumental in creating and up keeping the culture in our wrestling room.

It looked to me like he was going for nearfall points - but he wasn't in a great position for it and the guy got the easy reversal
