In addition to the updates from team social media, the latest from coach is that the teams will discuss a path forward this afternoon, so we should get an update tonight or tomorrow morning.

Chase Williams and Cameron Lohr both suffered knee injuries last night as well, so our forward depth continues to take more hits with Bailey and Gouveia already done for the season. I can't speak to the availability of Caid Cox going forward, but he had missed the 4 games previous to last night (knee injury), and it's abundantly clear how much his absence hurts us. What matters most is that he seems to recovering, but roster construction is definitely going to be a concern over the last month of the season.

The rest of game 1 vs @UNCHockey will be completed on Monday at PNC Arena prior to the start of the Carolina Classic. Puck drop will still be at 7PM

Pack dropped the conclusion of Friday's game 3-2 in OT, but rebounded nicely in a complete effort led by Garrett Auriene's hat trick. Despite all the injuries, the Pack are playing their best hockey of the season; let's see if the boys can make some postseason noise.

Tough one. Pack came roaring out of the gates with 2 early goals, but missed on a penalty shot and had a 3rd goal waved off due to offside after review. Just didn't make enough plays to put this one away. Pack will await their final ranking and head to Regionals in Ohio in 2 weeks.

A familiar position for the Pack here at Regionals - facing a lower seeded opponent that we've seen multiple times throughout the season:

2020 - Wake Forest (4th matchup, Pack had won previous 3, lost 3-2)
2023 - UNC (6th matchup, Pack had dropped 3 of 5, lost 6-3)
2024 - Rowan (5th matchup, Pack dropped 3 of 4 this season)

Last win at Regionals came in 2019 against Liberty to advance to Nationals. No Regionals were played in 2021 (top 16 automatically qualified for Nationals). The Pack also dropped a 4-3 decision to Penn in 2022 after being in position to grab a Nationals autobid for most of the season.

All of that to say - eventually you'd think something would go our way, although it certainly doesn't get easier should the Pack win today.
