Another reason why I don't really trust "crystal ball" Kentucky and unc were both at 33% and neither one is listed in final 7
Louisville guy picked NC State. He is usually well informed and the Cardinals are in the final 7. Seems to be a good sign for us.pack1502 said:
Picked up a couple CBs for leqcue FWIW
Very possible.WolfpackSI said:
Are we about to get Anfernee'd again?
Visits likely next month. We should get one.Packfan8 said:
When does he plan on committing, he seems like the type of player to string this all the way until spring
Wouldn't he be an upgraded 3.0 version of Nickelberry?Dunlow66 said:Louisville guy picked NC State. He is usually well informed and the Cardinals are in the final 7. Seems to be a good sign for us.pack1502 said:

Irony anyone? (Remember Bey and Nickelberry shying away after we starting going after Lecque and Moore)

So we are now in:
Ramsey's top 10 (think UofL leads but definitely helps us with him going to OAK Hill)
Lecque's top 7 (could argue we lead)
Wendell Moore's top 5 (with his OV coming up Sept. 1)
Patrick Williams' top 10 (believed we lead)
Marcus Watson's top 10 (haven't seen much from us recruiting him)
CJ Walker's top 12 (some think we're in better shape here than many think)
Christian Brown's Top 7 (very unlikely)
We've been ruled out or the player has committed elsewhere on:
Greg Gant
Shedrick
Okoro
Nickelberry
Quincy Guerrer
Caleb Mills
Boogie Ellis
James Bishop
Withers
NBA will draft him on what they think he can be.....not what he is. especially now that the G-league has become a legit minor league.Willies1 said:
Don't think Lecque is close to ready for nba. Can't shoot. Saw him play at christ school last year better have improved his shot a bunch.
Brian has a little inside info on this one as well. It will be public soon enoughPackfan8 said:
We now have 4 cb picks including national analyst brian snow
Simmons has elite shooting skillsWillies1 said:
We will see just going by what i saw. You had better be able to shoot in today's nba game...

Ok I am not a nba scout. But when I saw him play he is not a point guard yet. And he can't shoot. So you don't see many first round picks in the nba spent on that. Is all I am saying.
That is kind of a loaded question as only a very few kids have gone this route in the last decade.Willies1 said:
May not be accurate. But name players that have been drafted like you say out of high school and have made it.
and most kids who go to Brewster Prep get better....often a LOT better.Dunlow66 said:That is kind of a loaded question as only a very few kids have gone this route in the last decade.Willies1 said:

IMO, a good comparison would be to a player like Elfrid Payton.
Pick Lecque, stash him for two years in the GLeague and see what you have.
I have seen a lot less talented players go in the first round. Jimmer could shoot the lights out but ended up a bust while a kid like Payton who cant shoot still gets an NBA paycheck.
