Not a Logano fan, but my opinion at the end was that he was by far "the lesser of two evils" winning instead of Hamlin... didn't mind him winning so much after all.Glasswolf said:
What a wild race. 3 OT's. #22 with the win. I feel bad for Kyle Bush though. He was poised for a top 5 at least.

A lot of drama there at the end. It was very entertaining.

Statement fro Hendrick Motorsports, "Hooters has been a valued partner of Hendrick Motorsports since 2017, contributing to our shared successes both on and off the track. In recent months, however, Hooters has not been able to meet its business obligations to our organization. Due to these unfortunate and unexpected circumstances, and despite extensive efforts on both sides to identify a workable solution, it became necessary for Hendrick Motorsports to end the relationship. It has been a privilege having Hooters as a part of our team and we wish them the best."

Me too. I'd be happy if they stuck with ovals / tri-ovals. The rest is just gimmicks. I think that will become more important as the financials on Nascar are forced to be more and more frugal. The cost of operations to accommodate the alternative style racetracks is a cost of doing business.ncsupack1 said:
Anyone here a fan of the Chicago Street race? I'm personally an oval fan. I do get the whys for this race.
Wood Brothers Racing will announce tomorrow at 11 a.m. ET its driver for the 2025 season. Sources tell @TheAthletic that Josh Berry is finalizing a contract with the team.

I did enjoy last years Chicago race but that may have just been because it was new. This weekends race should still be at Daytona.ncsupack1 said:

It will be about as good as racing in the LA Coliseum, Bristol on dirt, the ****ty Iowa track we just raced on and racing on the most famous track in the world - except making it a road course instead... stupid is as stupid does.ncsupack1 said:
I understand why NASCAR went to Chicago just isn't my thing. NASCAR wants to new markets but they run road courses, not the best type of racing, I'm sure Mexico will be a road course. BTW....I understand that there aren't a bunch of ovals just sitting around.
