The article is calling out the failure that is the Brazil democracy. The only reason Lula is in charge is because the last candidate and his son are convicted criminals. Just like your buddy Ken Paxton in Texas.

Corruption IS at the top of the ballot. To argue against that is just throwing your head in the sand. To defend it is another thing.

The same thing that got MAGA going, the anti establishment, the absurd influence billionaire money brings, the swamp in DC…. all honorable causes I remember had me fired up.. but the truth is you were used for votes by the Trump family and they are now leading the race in corruption.

This is not a party issue, and it's imperative we get billionaires out of politics, including Elon spending $400m in Texas.

A quick and simple google search:

More billionaires are publicly backing Kamala Harris than Donald Trump

https://finance.yahoo.com/news/more-billionaires-publicly-backing-kamala-021100196.html

But which side is favored by the ultra-wealthy? It turns out the Vice President and democratic nominee Kamala Harris is the favored candidate. Tracking the movements of the rich, Forbes found that 81 billionaires support Harris and some 51 back former president Donald Trump, as of publication

This is not a party issue. Billionaires for democrats good, billionaires for republicans bad.

Elon Musk donates over $150 million to Senate GOP group, assisting Ken Paxton

Billionaire Elon Musk donated $158 million last month to the main super PAC supporting Senate Republicans, which almost immediately sent the money to a group that supports GOP Texas Senate candidate Ken Paxton, according to Federal Election Commission filings.

Elon has spent $445 MILLION so far for this midterm election, including that $158 million for Paxton. It's insane, and goes WAY beyond any other donor in American history... single-handedly trying to sway an election.

P.S. 97% of Talarico's donations have been under $100.

It goes far beyond dollar amounts.

Kushner wields government power as a senior White House adviser, and participates in diplomacy.

So his financial dealings with Middle Eastern nations create ongoing financial relationships with governments whose interests directly intersect with U.S. policy.

We've never seen corruption on this level before, not even close.

You care more about politics and the two parties than you care about America. You genuinely have no interest in a discussion about money in politics and any time someone proves you wrong you just stop responding to it. Living on this forum to troll is certainly your choice in how you live your life.

Focus on submitting your absentee ballot, or tell us about how absentee ballots are voter fraud. I can't keep up with your ever changing positions and convenient truths either

Brazil elections: Merz, world leaders congratulate Lula on his win

Left-wing incumbent Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva defeated Flavio Bolsonaro, the son of the far-right former President Jair Bolsonaro
It was a tight runoff, with Lula winning 51.7% of the vote against Bolsonaro's 48.2%, official results showed

- - -

After the Supreme Court kept election stations open for an additional two hours, enough votes were found for the far left candidate to "win" a fourth term.

$450m across midterms, $150m in Texas. Talarico has raised $150m total. I got a number wrong, am capable of admitting it (unlike you on literally any subject). However, the point still stands - one man is matching an entire campaigns fundraising. Not really the dunk you seem to think this is
