Glad to see you can't support a strategy that you claim Democrats are "celebrating" is failing. BTW, please show me anyone on this board who is "celebrating" a poor strategy for the Iran war.

What are you talking about "celebrating"?

Now you're an expert on war strategy too? In your expert opinion, you don't think significant damage has been done to down grade Iran's nuclear and military capabilities? You don't think depriving Iran of $500 million per day is a good thing?

Get to Washington quickly and tell everyone what they SHOULD be doing! You are just the guy this country needs at a time like this.

The racism and xenophobia is just proudly out in the open at this point.

Disgusting conduct from sitting Republicans, with zero pushback from the establishment.

Where are the principled, ethical Republicans?

We were promised total surrender. What you are saying is great has been great, but it's not total surrender. Therefore, the expectation is higher that you have a plan for your bluster.

Talk is cheap.

I'll ask again what you are talking about regarding "celebrating"?

It's good to know that you'll hold every single politician to their very exact words. I must have missed that in the past. I look forward to revisiting this topic with you the very second something that was said to be done is not word for word exactly met.

So nothing on "celebrating" anything? Thanks.

Democrats are gleeful at any news that remotely paints the President in a bad light. You know it's true but if you don't want to acknowledge it, I understand. Why don't you ask Nairo why China is loving this?

And oh hell no. Any and every politician that does not deliver word for word BETTER be called out by you. You are going to be busy so buckle up or be a prepared to wear the hypocrite of the year award.

So are democrats

Some things never change. Just ask Mr. Lincoln about his copperhead problem.

Well President Lincoln said "A Quick, Bloodless Resolution" early in the secession crisis after the fall of Fort Sumter. President Lincoln and his administration routinely claimed the rebellion would be localized and suppressed within 90 days with minimal force, an untrue projection as the conflict escalated into a massive four-year total war.

hokie would demand answers from President Lincoln…am I right hokie?

On the long list of Trump's corruption and norm-obliterating degenerate behavior, this one rarely gets talked about, even though it's possibly the most toxic to the future of the "United States as a nation".

The Trump administration has been openly targeting Democratic-run states... targeting them with legislation, treating them like occupied territory, and regularly extorting them by withholding the Federal grant money that they are due until they do what he wants. An outrageous attack on the federal system.

It can't be understated just how radical the average MAGA Republican has become. You can't even dredge up Marxist loons who sound more poisonous to the future of this country.

Whoa…democrats have lost their mind

DNC Approves Resolution Urging Congress to Abolish ICE

https://www.yahoo.com/news/politics/articles/dnc-approves-resolution-urging-congress-215640122.html

The Democratic National Committee on Saturday approved a resolution calling on liberal lawmakers to abolish Immigration and Customs Enforcement a move which further intensifies the party's opposition to President Donald Trump and his crack down on illegal immigration.

Newsweek was the first outlet to report the resolution, which aims to not only abolish ICE but completely dismantle the immigration enforcement system currently in place.

The resolution "goes beyond calls for reform" and urges Dem congress members to "enact legislation abolishing ICE, wind down the immigration detention system, restrict Department of Homeland Security (DHS) funding unless certain enforcement activities end, and terminate contracts with private detention providers."

This should play well with the average American voter in 2028

Dems need to articulate how they're going to handle border enforcement first before talking about abolishing anything; to handle it any other way is an unnecessary electoral wound.

But yeah, if they structure another department to handle border enforcement, I'd be all for firing all the mentally ill mall cops, or at a minimum re-screening them psychologically. Fire the loons with itchy trigger fingers, childlike executive functioning, and poor impulse control, and then hire/intensively re-train those that you keep.

Too many bad apples in the current ICE bunch to be like "yeah we're good here, let's keep it just like it is!"

Fair enough. The only thing I'll say is public interaction with ICE could be reduced significantly if many of the criminals were held in jails or holding centers vs. being released on the streets.
