We gotta toughen up as a society and eat more roadkill🚨 JUST IN: Foodborne illnesses have gone up by 400% in 2026.

This increase is linked to RFK Jr.’s radical changes to food safety standards. pic.twitter.com/CgsNZkAjm5

Sounds to me like the detection and identification of food borne illness has increased 400% under RFK Jr.
Trump: These young beautiful girls, these young beautiful girls, these young beautiful girls in the White House, they come in. Now I'm not supposed to say beautiful, but what the hell. Trump: For you to pay a TINY little bit more for your gasoline, you're doing it so that a very evil country cannot have a nuclear weapon. Remember that when you’re paying $4. I’ll never apologize. pic.twitter.com/SRdBzE3g4h

I WOULD LIKE TO REMIND EVERYONE IN AMERICA THAT THE MAN WHO'S IN CHARGE OF YOUR HEALTHCARE ACTUALLY TESTIFIED DURING HIS DIVORCE IN 2012 THAT HE COULDN'T AFFORD ALIMONY BECAUSE HE WAS SO BRAIN DAMAGED THAT HE COULDN'T HOLD A JOB 🙄

Interesting misconception
Which is apparently what GOP LS specializes in.
I pulled this from hhs.gemini.ai which I have access to as part of my job.
The 400% figure is misleading
The underlying story appears to be a CNN report published August 13, 2026, which says this is an unusually bad year for foodborne-illness outbreaks, not that Americans are experiencing 400% more foodborne illness overall.
CNN reports that:But 20 investigations vs. an annual average of 25 is not a 400% increase. And "outbreak investigations" are not the same thing as "number of people who got food poisoning."
- From 20212025, the FDA investigated an average of about 25 foodborne-illness outbreaks per year.
- In 2026, the FDA has already posted 20 investigations, with work still active on 18 foodborne-illness clusters.
- There is a particularly large Cyclospora outbreak contributing to the unusual numbers this summer. For example, Michigan has experienced a major surge, and federal officials have been investigating outbreaks involving produce.
So my assessment of the GOP Ls post is:
The underlying premise is real 2026 has been an unusually bad year for foodborne-illness outbreaks.
The statement that U.S. foodborne illness cases are "up nearly 400%" is not a fair characterization of the federal data.
It's essentially taking a particular statistic/measure from the current outbreak situation and turning it into a claim about all foodborne illness cases nationwide.

Muslims make up roughly 1% of the U.S. population, yet a striking share of successful DSA candidates this cycle have been Muslim or closely tied to Muslim activist networks.
That overrepresentation is hard to miss when the same pattern keeps repeating in local and state races.
Is this organic political organizing or something more coordinated? Voters should pay attention to who is rising through these far-left vehicles.
