Been pretty open that I dont particularly care for how Trump/Vance have treated our allies, especially Europe/Canada. There are much more diplomatic ways to get your message across than their rambling incoherent ways, such as Rubio's speech in Munich (which was fantastic, btw).
Now, having said that, I do think they are on the right track policy wise. Europe has massive issues on their own that they seem unwilling to address, so sometimes tough love is needed. They complain about us being the world police then screech when we pull back. You cannot have it both ways.
Also, for the love of all that's holy, please stop with the Greenland nonsense. Just work out whatever diplomatic deal you are trying to achieve to get the bases wherever you want. It cannot be this difficult/stupid to accomplish

Border security is the obvious one and that has significant support electorally. It's a huge part of why Trump got elected a second time and almost certain to carry forward with either party in power.
What else?

Why would it carry forward with Democrats? You all spent the Biden years calling anyone who questioned Biden's open door borders racist and xenophobic? Is that the official platform of Democrats to just pretend people forget the way you behaved for 4 years, or hell 8 if you include 45.
People have to look no further than Virginia to see how the Dems ran as moderates, and as soon as elected push for far left policy?
Is that the Dem official playbook? Pray for ignorance and then bait and switch?

Because they just lost a Presidential election due to their stance on it, and will adapt moving forward.
The right is in no position to talk about baiting and switching. You were on here defending Trump's candidacy a year ago, saying he had no connection to Project 2025.
Over a year later, Project 2025 is the de facto manifesto of the Trump Administration.

The Democratic strongholds in the Commonwealth are not homogeneous. Maybe that will tamper down these insane proposals.
But I do agree, a lot of people fell for the Okie Doke.
Also, it was egregious to elect the Attorney General they did. That guy has zero integrity and should have been ostracized from politics and not rallied around.

Getting Europe to rearm up to their NATO commitment levels. We should have never let them slack on that, especially after Russia invaded Crimea in 2014. Well past time for Europe to take their own defense seriously, especially with Russia/China becoming much more aggressive militarily.
Also like their pushback against EU censorship laws.

I've known this for years, but it's becoming more clear by the day....Trump is controlled op, and a Democrat plant. Trump was a life-long Democrat, and only spouted "conservative" RHETORIC on the campaign trail.
The Deep State Establishment controls 99% of both parties, including Trump. There's only a handful of "real" anti-Establishment members of Congress, like Massie and MTG and maybe Rand Paul.
The most important position in a President's administration is the Department of Justice. And Trump has picked two RINO pro-Establishment "swamp" creatures to head his DOJ -- Bill Barr and Pam Bondi. Both Barr and Bondi have done nothing but defend and protect the Establishment and Deep State/Swamp. We are a year into his second term and Bondi's DOJ has done NOTHING to prosecute any high-level criminals.
The two-party system is all scripted political theatre. The Republicans in Congress (Johnson and Thune) have done almost nothing over the last year. They are basically just lying down and squandering any chance to implement a conservative agenda. Why? Because the RINO leadership are like "Democrat lite". They work with the Democrats to implement the same big government, tyrannical, war-mongering agenda while only "opposing" each other on a few things to give the illusion of a real and meaningful difference between the parties.
You can see right now that they are setting things up to have the Democrats "win" (with rigged elections, etc) the midterms and take control of the House and Senate. And they will impeach Trump again and maybe even have enough votes to remove him in the Senate.
It's all theatre. They are using Trump to further demoralize conservatives, and to have the puppet Trump "tarnish" the face of the conservative movement.
