Been pretty open that I dont particularly care for how Trump/Vance have treated our allies, especially Europe/Canada. There are much more diplomatic ways to get your message across than their rambling incoherent ways, such as Rubio's speech in Munich (which was fantastic, btw).

Now, having said that, I do think they are on the right track policy wise. Europe has massive issues on their own that they seem unwilling to address, so sometimes tough love is needed. They complain about us being the world police then screech when we pull back. You cannot have it both ways.

Also, for the love of all that's holy, please stop with the Greenland nonsense. Just work out whatever diplomatic deal you are trying to achieve to get the bases wherever you want. It cannot be this difficult/stupid to accomplish

Why would it carry forward with Democrats? You all spent the Biden years calling anyone who questioned Biden's open door borders racist and xenophobic? Is that the official platform of Democrats to just pretend people forget the way you behaved for 4 years, or hell 8 if you include 45.

People have to look no further than Virginia to see how the Dems ran as moderates, and as soon as elected push for far left policy?

Is that the Dem official playbook? Pray for ignorance and then bait and switch?

Trump ran on immigration reform. Trump ran on reducing federal workforce. Trump ran on eliminating department of education. Trump ran on getting rid of DEI. He is following through on his campaign promises. Leftists want to create a boogeyman in Project 2025, but it has as much tooth as you supporting immigration reform when you called everyone racist and xenophobic for doing the same the last 4 years.

Additionally, Dave cries about the Jones Act non stop on here. Why hasn't Trump done that if Project 2025 is the manifesto. Quite frankly he's gone the opposite direction.

All you have to do is look at what Spanberger has done in Virginia... supposedly ran as a moderate (non-leftist) Democrat - and all she has done since is to enact policies to turn the entire Commonwealth of Virginia into Loudoun County (ie. DC).

Im not sure every crazy piece of legislation that was introduced actually has a chance to pass.

The Democratic strongholds in the Commonwealth are not homogeneous. Maybe that will tamper down these insane proposals.

But I do agree, a lot of people fell for the Okie Doke.

Also, it was egregious to elect the Attorney General they did. That guy has zero integrity and should have been ostracized from politics and not rallied around.

There was a time when Virginia was a reliably red state. Republicans only have themselves to blame, as they weren't serious about drastically scaling back the size of the Federal government. It wasn't that long ago that Frank Wolf represented NOVA in Congress as a Republican back in the nineties.
