I don't know who has their concealed carry; however, I do. All I can say is… the training I receive would have never had me in that situation if I was carrying, at the time.

• The Admin is enforcing immigration laws
• The Admin is sending federal agencies in to remove the illegal immigrants
• The federal agencies are met with protesting
• The protesting appears to be getting aggressive
• The federal agencies need local support to manage the protesting
• The local and state leadership, at this point, aren't showing any support of federal law and the agencies enforcing the law
• Now, things are spiraling out of control.

Now, the irony of all this is that the protestors are creating an autonomous zone; whereas, people aren't allowed in without checks. We are truly living in an upside-down world!

exactly how would have local law enforcement helped in this situation? The aggressive behavior was done by the ice officers it appears on video. Maybe there's more context before folks started filming, and that's why it should be investigated.

But it seems to not concern you that what Noem said what happened and what is on the video are worlds apart. That concerns me.

Another preventable tragedy. I have no idea what started this and led to the shooting, but it's common sense to most that if you are going to protest do so peacefully. Don't impede Federal officers while they are trying to do their jobs. It's really that simple.

Don't use a 4000 lb + vehicle to run over an agent and don't show up with a loaded 9mm(or something similar), several magazines, and no ID to boot. If you show your weapon and the Federal agents are trying to disarm you, then don't resist. Play stupid games and win stupid prizes.

Again a very tragic situation that could have had a much better outcome. There are reports that the parents of the man killed yesterday warned their son not to engage with Federal officials. If true, then unfortunately he did not heed their advice like he should have.

The only conclusion to be drawn is this Administration wants this. It's by design. Stephen Miller and Trump want the optics of militarized enforcement on the streets.
