My understanding is that this is potentially a violation of the face act. So, these folks should be arrested and awarded their opportunity to defend themselves in court.
Yes, the FACE act also applies to places of religious worship. I was surprised the Minnesota Attorney General, Keith Ellison, said the FACE act only applies to people seeking reproductive rights. I expect there will be more arrests.
im not surprised Ellison is wrong, he's proven himself to be an idiot on multiple occasions. He's applying the FACE act to what he agrees with and not what the law actually states.
Reminds me of a guy named Josh Stein.
Well, if the Republicans would have produced a viable, moderate candidate, he wouldn't be governor at the moment.
Yup
I'm not so sure about that…. The State is slowly shifting to the left of center, with enough radicals to make it look worse. Cooper is not moderate at all and he will most likely win. Whatley, who is really an old school Republican will not beat him, my opinion.
Cary is looking like any other city, in any other State. I just don't understand the thinking. People move to the South and Towns like Cary looking for a better life. They get here and vote the same way they did wherever they were before. Ultimately, they will get tired of Cary and move somewhere else, then leave the town in shambles!
The patterns just repeat themselves…
I am a Republican and left the vote for Governor blank. Robinson was a terrible candidate. I did read an article not long ago where there are now more Republicans registered than Democrats in NC. No idea on Independent number.
Here is the WRAL article. Highest percentage are Independents.

Civ had to look around for a while, but he was able to go back to September 2024 to dispute your post...
Never ceases to amaze.
*This story was all over the news just a very short while ago... not sure how anyone could have missed it unless they were under a rock.
LOL. What never ceases to amaze me is how stuck y'all are in red team versus blue team politics and how y'all think everyone else must be the same.
Nobody, including me is disputing the Republicans now edge out registered Democrats in NC.
The intent was to show the very high number of unaffiliated voters in North Carolina, which POW said he didn't remember seeing.
I hadn't looked this up before and I didn't realize how significantly unaffiliated voters outnumbered both R's and D's. It was surprising and interesting.
That was all part of that same story as well, sorry that you missed it.
