I really don't know much about Fuentes. And… what the heck is a Groyper?

That article has some good points. I do believe in the concept of people owning their decisions. I also understand that people are not feeling any type of lowering of prices. Now, asking the President to sabotage the economy by saying it's poor will not happen, regardless of the holder, nor should they.

im also confident that the President, regardless of who it is, are implementing policies they think will get the economy going. It's up to us to agree with those policies or not. Typically, our personal circumstance dictates our belief in the policies.

BTW, the National Review is a publication that believes in globalism to the max. I don't! At some point, portions of that genie need to be put back in the bottle. Unfortunately , I don't know how, nor do I think most elected officials don't have the will.

I think most people that support Trump are not happy with some of his recent comments: more H1B visas, more China students, etc…. I think he said something like the best and brightest. Now, we have always brought in the best and brightest to help us with certain policies/projects; however, China students, as good meaning as they may be, do have an overarching government that I don't trust. We should fight them with asymmetrical warfare. Stopping their student visas would be a start.

High irony that the main side effect of a communist Muslim heathen getting elected in a massively visible mayoral campaign that was all about affordability, was this administration finally getting its head out of its ass on *some* of its colossally stupid and illegal tariff policies in a way that will benefit all Americans.

The Dems in congress, senate and federal judgeships, will continue to fight anything that this administration attempts to do to help the economy... the shutdown had the side benefit of further sabotaging the economy. Dems love to create a good crisis.

Like tariffs?

What else has this administration done to try to help the economy?

Please go ahead and list them here.

You're the one desperately clinging to tweets for your talking points.

Guess what? Trump wasn't able to convince Boebert to pull her signature yesterday, so the discharge petition is now locked in. Speaker Johnson will be bringing up the Epstein vote next week.

Then you can bawl about who didn't vote for it. Hint: The no votes will be all Republican.

I'll be curious to see how many Republicans vote yes.

Just like with the upcoming health care bill debate, it's one thing to talk a big game on talk shows.

It's another to be forced to go on record with a vote, in this case that serves only to cover up for a pedophile.

Lol. Like you care. You voted for Hillary Clinton. You didn't demand Biden release it when he could. You only pretend to care now because you're weak minded and told to care.

If we're being honest, if Kamala had won your party would be steps away from trying to normalize pedophilia. And you would be supporting it. Because you're a minion.

The four Republicans who signed the petition should all be yes votes, unless of course Trump threatened to murder their dog or something.

But yeah, I'm not holding my breath on any other Republican votes.

Lol, get real. One of the founding principles of MAGA was to release the Epstein Files. It was all fun and games until Trump replaced the actual Justice Department with a bunch of toadies and FINALLY had the ability to release them at will.

It's a joke for the ages that they peaked into the files "on Bondi's desk" and were suddenly like "whoa, never mind the last decade of conspiracy bullsh**, we really don't want to release these after all!!!"

And you dutifully did an about face and nodded along to a guy acting as guilty as humanly possible of being a pedo. So please. Minion.

They completely ignored this for 4 years and now they suddenly care because they think they can get Trump! They've got him this time! Never mind testimony from the witness mentioned in the email saying Trump was never involved.

Democrats only released this to distract their minions from the reopening of a government that they want to keep closed to hurt people all to score a political win. It clearly worked.

I think it's all hilarious.

The Epstein Files petition was started by REPUBLICANS, and was waiting for the government to re-open, because Johnson refused to swear in the Dem who would be the final signature.

So quit bawling about the timing…. Republicans are the ones who chose for Epstein to be the issue the second the shutdown ended.

How many workers returned? According to this report, 317 of the 475 people, at the plant were removed. So, how many were issued new visas? Why didn't the others get their visas?

For that matter, why didn't the raid include all 475 people?

In other words, I don't know the details and most likely you don't either. That said, no one here on a visa has a right to stay here. If we ask for them to leave and ultimately deliver them to another country, then so be it...

As far as I know, not a single one of them were citizens, correct?

The latest hoopla the Dems are leaning on is this so-called new report/letter/document or whatever it was. Sad thing is that it was the same girl that had already said nothing happened. Now, this girl is dead!!

Dems will use any means necessary to try and win on a political point.

They were here on a legal H1-B visa to help build a manufacturing facility for a company that is head quartered in an allied country. This "raid" is a classic example of shoot, ready, aim.

I know enough about the manufacturing plant construction process to know that is a significant number of foreign support staff that are needed to produce the plant and the assembly line equipment necessary to complete the project.

For instance, a plant I did in Gastonia NC had a production line with 7 different pieces assembly equipment from 7 different European countries. A plant I did in Emporia Virginia had equipment from Japan.

In each instance, I had a large presence of workers on site from the manufacturer of this equipment to help with the assembly and start-up process. All of them were on H1-B visas. It's the process that has been in existence in my entire 25 year career in commercial construction.

So, If we are going to encourage on shoring manufacturing from foreign companies, or American companies for that matter, we probably shouldn't be booting the subject matter experts from other countries for these projects.

I suspect there was probably some undocumented workers on site, it's an unfortunate nature of the processes in place in that the system can be gamed, and the procedures to try and avoid that do have holes in them - there is only so much a private firm can do to confirm identity records.

Hokie, I'm sure you have more knowledge than I regarding these types of manufacturing facilities. That said, it appears as if you glossed over my point…

So, all of them are here on a H1B visa, you say…. Is that true for the 475 people that were working in the factory? Was it only for the 317? How many of the 475 or 317 were allowed back while on their H1B visa?

And now… does our Federal Government have a right to pull the H1B visa that was issued?
