That's the cool thing about fascism…. when you get that far out there the "political platform" kind of morphs into whatever Dear Leader pulls out of his ass this week. Trump could regularly do 180s on every policy (even foundational MAGA stuff like the Epstein List, Ukraine, etc), and you wouldn't skip a beat as long as he's always somehow bringing retribution to your "enemies".

We're wasting time doing the "your team/my team" thing with this problem. It's totally unproductive. Loons from "both sides" perpetrate the violence, and victims from both sides bleed out from the shots fired.

The only question we should discussing is "What can our leaders do to improve this situation?"

Hokie, the tariff system (know as HTC codes) is an absolute mess. It's very difficult to determine the correct code for a product. BTW, we've had exemptions for a long time. One that bothers me is how the product is shipped.

In my industry, a company can bring in their golf bags slightly unassembled and do final assembly once in the States. Doing that, they bypassed all tariffs in the past.

Personally, I think that's crap! Either we have tariffs or not.
