Yep, moves to class action rules now. And to be fair, you loved this happening when it was going against Democratic President's executive orders
Isn't it funny that this Supreme Court didn't think to make this ruling during the 7 million nationwide injunctions of Biden's executive orders?

Such a cartoonishly corrupt court. Every ruling seems to find a way to expand Trump's power, shield him from accountability, and/or facilitate corrupt delays.
Assume you didn't read the opinions, so no the Supreme Court isn't corrupt. You just don't like the current makeup

Seems real partisan….

.
Cool story. The headline cases tell a different story, and their legal reasoning is generally tortured and completely steeped in the Federalist Society's radical and anti-American "unitary executive" nonsense.

That's fine... you'd better pray that they successfully pull off this coup, because if a Dem is ever president again you're going to suddenly discover just how bad some of these rulings actually are.
again, it's all up to Congress to take back their authority.
You do know that Birthright Citizenship is in the Constitution, right? What would you like congress to do, pass another Constitutional Amendment so the Supreme Court can let Trump ignore that one, too?

"Cartoonish"…

In the clown world of Commie libtards, sessions of the Supreme Court would open with a drag queen strip performance and the drag queens giving Justice Jackson a lap dance, then burning an American flag, and perhaps a pledge of allegiance to Karl Marx, or Satan.

this ruling does nothing to change birthright citizenship, you know this. This is a long overdue procedural change that frankly both parties have abused.

The next abuse to fix is presidential executive order decrees. That's where Congress can rebalance government by taking back power they have ceded

Of course the court didn't rule on the merits of Birthright Citizenship, it was all an excuse to rule on federal judges. All part of the plan. Yes, federal injunctions have been abused, but in order to fix those abuses you just created a gaping hole in the rule of law.

Trump's favorite tactic has always been delay because you can always do permanent damage and get what you want long before things get through the courts. This Supreme Court has helped him with that every step of the way. And by requiring a class action lawsuit (which this Supreme Court is working to make ever harder to do) it could add years to the delays.

It's already the law that executive orders can't do what Trump is doing. He's breaking the law. What is there to "fix"? Sure, congress could "take back power" by impeaching the president, but they're on the same team, so obviously that's not going to happen.

The DOGE executive orders are obviously mostly illegal... but if you destroy the federal government, and then the court eventually rules it was illegal years later, what's the point? So now Trump can proceed as if Birthright Citizenship doesn't exist and deport everyone to the Congo or wherever, and when the court finally decides to rule it unconstitutional it won't matter.

This ruling makes it impossible to prevent that intentional damage.

The United States is not just another country. Our country is unique and unlike any other country on the globe with a Constitution and Bill of Rights. The Declaration of Independence declared our people to be sovereigns. You've made a lot of sense with most all of your posts but not this one.

If this country had fallen over the last four years, the entirety of the globe would have fallen.

LOL, they're subjects of a King and Queen; precisely what drove our revolution in the 1700's and precisely what we resisted in 1812. As a matter of fact, what we're attempting to get out from under right now is the control and influence of GB and its City of London bankers. Yep, regarding the above post re 1913, we have been controlled by the Corporation of the US since the Organic Act of 1871.

New York City will soon join Great Britain. Islamic Law fits nicely with communist totalitarianism.

Lol, not hardly. With the exception of his idiotic tariffs and the tsunami of grifting, pretty much every bit of his presidency so far has come straight out of the Project 2025 playbook. I guess he gets credit for staying on schedule.
