Interesting here...they busted an anti-Tesla terrorist, and got him on camera trying to deny (then later admit to) and rationalize what he did.

Man confronted for drawing a swastika on a Tesla: "Obviously I have something against Elon Musk..." "It was misguided and I did not intend to do this..."

Leftist strikes pro-Tesla counter protester with his car.

This murderous hatred from the Left against Trump supporters is playing out with real life consequences...

Quote:

A 70-year-old man has been arrested and charged with aggravated assault after allegedly striking an Elon Musk supproter with his vehicle during an anti-Tesla rally outside a dealership in Meridian, Idaho, according to local law enforcement.

ABC News reports that on Saturday, approximately 30 people gathered outside a Tesla dealership in Meridian, Idaho, to protest against the company's CEO, Elon Musk, and his role in the Trump administration's federal job cuts. The protest was overshadowed by a counter-protest of about 200 individuals. According to the Meridian Police Department, as a 49-year-old counter-protester arrived at the scene, Christopher Talbot, 70, of Meridian, allegedly made an obscene gesture toward him before striking him with his car.

Police reported that the victim, who had been driving a truck displaying pro-Trump flags, had just parked and exited his vehicle when Talbot hit him. The counter-protester sustained non-life-threatening injuries and drove himself to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Quite the gang member. BTW, my coworkers wife was lost for two weeks in the system with zero communication and has been deported back to Colombia for zero reason other than she "overstayed" her visa during COVID when she couldn't return to her country. No due process, not even can be bothered to just go before an immigration judge. I guess this is what you guys wanted. It's not right, but elections have consequences and the last two administration have put us in this spot.

Hokie, this is far from a perfect solution; however, it needs to be done. Hopefully, these people will get their lives back quickly, if wrongly handled...

I think I've heard multiple admin folks say this. Trust me, bad things happen everyday to people who are innocent... The system isn't perfect, not am I...
thats unacceptable and not what this country stands for Cary. We do not treat innocent people like criminals in this country. Immigration is the first step. What's next? Prison for people who don't agree? That's the next step

I agree with Cary. It's not a perfect system and I'm truly disappointed to hear about your friend. Hopefully things get sorted out soon.

That said hokie, I'm willing to bet many more bad guys have been deported than good people like your friends girlfriend?

That doesn't make it any better for them but it does for the country.

"More bad people than good deported" doesn't justify unconstitutional elimination of due process.

We don't only abide by the constitution when it's convenient.

Like I said, it's not perfect but many more bad guys have been removed than people like hokies friend.

And honestly let's stop with the pretending to care about the Constitution. You want these people here so their anchor babies grow up dependent on the government. If these were white, Christian, educated people from Europe democrats would have shut the border down in a NY minute.

I don't know what this fake grievance of yours even means but no, we don't get to decide when the constitution matters and when it doesn't.

It loses all meaning if we do that.

Fortunately the courts are seeing fit to wrangle this administration's shenanigans appropriately.

Civ, I agree with you on the bolded. I'm not saying that at all. I am saying that things happen incorrectly, possibly more frequently than we think. Right now, this is a media hot button, because its Trump, my opinion...

Now, I don't see where this was a deliberate constitutional violation. Assuming all this is real, I don't think it was deliberate; rather, an unfortunate happening. It happens! It needs to be fixed and compensated properly.

Now, it no way form or fashion should the Administration stop what they are doing. As Gulf did say, and was probably his intent, don't throw out the policy with an unfortunate situation.

Also, if you think the policy sucks, then let's debate that. Please don't sensationalize a bad occurrence...

How do you know more bad guys have been deported than good? There's zero evidence of who's been deported and what their criminal record is. You're taking the word of the administration, which honestly I can't at the moment when they keep saying Doge has saved a trillion dollars when it's barely two billion

That's why you have due process. Some of these innocent people are now in a foreign prison with the worst of the worst criminals in Central America. And the response is oh well?

GP has been attacked more than anyone here. I've never felt like those same people didn't deserve it back in kind. Particularly, now that those so-called conspiracies (virus, jabs) have been validated.

We have a number of hypersensitive posters here than can call names and then get the same condescension back ......that then whine to the mods.

That's a made-up word/category used to try to ban what is perfectly legitimate and protected free speech in order to shield a certain class of people from criticism.

The Left is now criticizing the state of Israel for their war in Palestine. And it is called by many "anti-Semitism" to criticize the the state of Israel.

So should people be banned from IPS for criticizing the state of Israel over Palestine? Or for pointing out the fact that jews control Hollywood? Completely absurd.

The Left also is constantly whining about "white supremacy" and accusing "white people of controlling Western institutions" and "committing discrimination", etc. This is the EXACT thing being done against white people, that you are whining about that jews are accused of.

Should there also be a term "anti-whitism" to ban people who criticize white people??

No they're not. It's considered attacking the poster. Every time someone tries to moderate this forum we get blamed for "infringing on someone's 1st Amendment rights. I'm a Democrat, my wife is, my father in law and mother in law is. My FIL is a retired Baptist Minister. I don't have to go around wearing my faith on the my sleeve. I do it by showing the same compassion to everyone that I think Jesus would. Ernie crossed the line like I've never before. I don't even care if he was drunk. The things he said were wrong. I was taught that a drunk mans words are a sober mans thoughts.

If you feel like you are being attacked personally flag the post or message me or Wolfer79
Is this a recent change of heart among the staff? Because man, up until this incident pushed things over the top this place has been a cesspool of daily personal attacks. Don't get me wrong, if it is an effort to clean things up then better late than never.

Those daily personal attacks come from you as well. You have constantly called those you disagree with "idiots" and "morons". It all needs to stop.

Well the attacks on ethnic groups is going to stop as of today. Black, white, Latino, lgbtq, doesn't matter. If you attack a group of people, you will be dealt with. Paying subscriber or not.

Jesus teaches us to love each other as he loves us.
We've got an entire thread on transgender.......so that's off limits? Ridiculous, that's being pushed in our schools and entertainment industry. We can't have an opinion here?

Show me me how many drag queens or transgenders that have been charged with sex crimes and I will show you just as many form the gop that have been. Many from inside the church
I asked a ref if he could give me a technical foul for thinking bad things about him. He said, of course not. I said, well, I think you stink. And he gave me a technical. You can't trust em.

Is it a sex crime to do drag shows at elementary schools? Is it acceptable?

And I agree completely on inside-the-church. I could tell you about one of my former pastors......LOL

no, when you present centuries old antisemitic tropes that are proven wrong as fact, you are indeed an antisemite. If you want to disagree with the policy of the State of Israel or if you think Israel shouldn't exist at all, that's fine, but brining up these old conspiracy theories about Jews as the reason why you disagree with those things should be banned here.

"But I know Jews" isn't an excuse for this either.

So we can't even criticize homosexuality or the transgender agenda now, for instance? God and Jesus condemn homosexuality, if you want to invoke the Bible here.

If we oppose men in women's sports, we are going to be suspended or banned from IPS? Surely not.

You have just proposed a RADICAL change to the Water Cooler, overturning the way things have been done here for 7 years. Who is making this new rule? Steve or James? If not, I will be taking this to them.

This is not right. This is viewpoint censorship.

"proven as wrong". No, those things were objectively TRUE. But you just don't want to accept those truths.

The Left are "anti-white". They are constantly attacking white people and talking about "white supremacy".

There is a double standard here.
