Yup. Let them destroy themselves. From defending men playing in womens' sports, doxxing ICE agents, arguing FOR government waste, and all the rest. Grab some popcorn and enjoy it.

God what strawmen.

Who on here argued for any of that?

Or are you talking about randos on Twitter?
I'll just go with the last day or two. In order, the governor of Maine, activists in LA, and the myriad liberals defending USAID. I'd give you more but I don't want to be typing for the next 753957473947 hours.

NATO is one thing, the war in Ukraine is another. Putin hasn't gotten more interested in negotiations just because of, or despite, Trump. There are signs that he's running out of money to fight his war as a Ukrainian Intel honcho had predicted two years ago. Russian banks are already choking on Russian bonds that they had to buy because they couldn't be sold outside Russia. Russian sovereign funds kept in reserve for rainy days, which this is becoming, are draining steadily in 2025. Right now, Putin has a choice, endure a humiliating and probably lethal bankruptcy or utilize hyperinflation to keep the wheels from falling off…for now. The latter is what he'd choose if he has to, but it will bring its own dangers to Putin. This is why it'd be tragic if Trump snatched defeat from the jaws of victory against Putin.

A bit late for that. When you voted for Trump you knew that this would be the outcome.

There are only two certainties with Donald Trump:
  • He will cut taxes for billionaires
  • He will lavish Putin with gifts at the cost of U.S. global influence for nothing in return

GP, even though the amendments are part of the Constitution, I do think there are areas that fall outside the intent of the Constitution:

16th Amendment
17th Amendment

Those two are in direct conflict with Constitutional thinking…. That said, they are in the Constitution; therefore, they are Constitutional…

Yes, their enactment has caused a lot of harm to the country. We've had horrible Presidents these past few decades but going back more than a century, Woodrow Wilson was just as bad.

Venezuelan President Maduro Surrenders to Trump, Exposes Biden, CIA & FBI in Shocking Conspiracy
Socialist dictator Nicols Maduro has surrendered to President Donald Trump, handing over damning state evidence that reveals former President Joe Biden, the FBI, and the CIA worked with George Soros and his son Jonathan to unleash the violent Tren de Aragua gang on the United States. Soros, a malevolent billionaire bent on dismantling nations for his own power and profit, has funneled money through his Open Society Foundations to orchestrate this chaos, directing Biden to flood America with Venezuelan criminals while propping up corrupt district attorneys to keep them on the streets. Behind it all, Soros and his empire have weaponized immigration, crime, and drugsincluding a direct link to China's fentanyl tradeto destabilize the U.S., only to be thwarted by Trump's vow to crush the deep state.

Maduro's Confession: Biden and Soros Unleashed Tren de Aragua
On Thursday, February 20, 2025, Maduro publicly admitted during a regime event that the Biden administration facilitated the expansion of Tren de Aragua, a terrorist gang once confined to Venezuela, into Colombia and then the United States. "I say to President Donald Trump with respect, ask for the reports of the last four years from the FBI and the DEA, from the offices in Colombia," Maduro declared, "so that you can see who financed, who moved, who directed the famous Tren de Aragua, who brought it to the United States." He pointed the finger squarely at Biden, claiming the gang was used "with deep ties to the former Biden administration" to export terrorism from Venezuela to American cities.

Maduro's regime once nurtured Tren de Aragua, letting it thrive under lenient prison policies and the pranato system, where gang leaders like Hctor "The Child" Guerrero ran Tocorn prison like a criminal kingdomcomplete with a zoo, casino, and cryptocurrency farm, all guarded by the Venezuelan National Guard. In September 2023, Maduro staged a fake "raid" on Tocorn, allowing Guerrero and his lieutenants to escape through tunnels to a nearby lake, emptying the prison and setting the stage for the gang's international rampage. Within weeks, Tren de Aragua surfaced in Chicago, New York, South Carolina, Louisiana, and beyond, running sex trafficking rings, robberies, and fentanyl operationsall thanks to Biden's open-border policies.

Im gonna somewhat disagree about NATO and Ukraine war being different. Ukraine threatening to join NATO is a big reason that war is going on. Look at whats happened to the countries that joined NATO after the USSR collapse, particularly old Soviet states.

I do agree with you on the current state of Russia given the war though.

Just ran into Cornel West at the airport. I went up to him and said:

Cornel, hey… I wanted to come up and say hey. You and I don't agree on anything political; but, I love You!!! I love your passion!!

He was so appreciative…. Said a prayer, asked me my name…. And we went on.

For me, that was an awesome experience!!

Really need to remove the activist judges. The people that mock "activist judges" are the same ones that mocked disagreement with Covid advice/restrictions "why would they lie?" They are sheep and the country needs to stop listening to the minions.... Which based on the election and subsequent polling, they are. Fortunately.

It was!!! His TV persona is no different than what I met today. I've always been fascinated by him and tend to watch a lot of his interviews.

It was funny, I was running down the corridor, at RDU, trying to catch him…. He was very gracious!!!

it is an entitlement because of the obligation written into law.

Here's a good thread that explains an example of simple fraud from the states. Yes, it's an economist who is trans and an Ukraine supporter, but it's good information.

From the Twitter thread:

"Medicaid could save up to $720B over the decade by reforming or killing the Medicaid provider tax gimmick (MPTG).

States set up Medicaid programs and then DC reimburses between 50% (rich states) and 83% (poor states) of state expenses.

But states use the MPTG to make it look like they are spending more on Medicaid and thus claim extra, unearned federal reimbursements. Its basically fraud.

Medicaid could save $650 billion by better standardizing reimbursements across populations.

When the ACA expanded Medicaid to healthier, higher-earning, able-bodied adults, it also offered states a 100% (and now 90%) federal reimbursement for this group - which exceeds the reimbursement rate for kids, seniors, disabled, and low-earning adults.

We can keep this new population Medicaid-eligible, but there's no reason for adult-bodied, higher-earning adults to get preferential treatment over more vulnerable populations. Reset them to the other reimbursement rates.

Medicaid could save up to $160 billion over the decade by reversing a Biden-admin rule limiting how often states can verify that their Medicaid recipients are still eligible. This should be a no-brainer. If someone is no longer eligible (income rise?), they should graduate off.

These are just 3 of many reforms to save $880B from Medicaid. Yes, limiting reimbursements may create some holes for states to fill -but the provider tax is fraudulent, 90% reimb rate for healthy adults is a pointless windfall - and eligibility verification will save states $."

Thanks! An above post, I said Medicare and should have said Medicaid. Looks like you figured it out.

Medicaid needs to be fully funded by the State. Federal Government needs to figure out how to back out. Let the States create their own policies/laws and go from there…

Just a dumb post! No one is saying to get rid of Medicaid; rather, it should be a fully State supported program…

Debate that! Don't pull out stupid points that are irrelevant!

I really don't know much about those brothers; however, supposedly, they are somewhat degenerates. That said, they are US Citizens, right?

So you are saying get rid of Medicaid, and replace it with a state version of the program? And you don't see why that's stupid?
