So I think that's where you and I are at an impasse. In this case the only good outcome is an end. But that outcome doesn't mean it's a good outcome for the future. It's just the inevitable, and a good outcome is how many concessions Trump agrees to to make it happen.
My definition of an acceptable outcome would be for Ukraine to continue to be allowed to have an army, but suspect that will be conceded by Trump.
