Civ, let's be honest with each other…

I think most people should take what you say with a grain of salt. Just remember, you were the person pushing that border bill, that went no where. Most (rational) people, on here were saying… just do a few of the same things Trump was doing and you will make a massive impact, at the border.

Well, who was right? It certainly wasn't you! Most (rational) people saw through that bill and said… it's not needed!!!

In summary, you really haven't brought anything substantive to the table in some time…

Respectfully Cary, I'm not following you at all.

Yes, I said it was bull**** that Trump killed the bipartisan border bill so he could run on the immigration issue. A lot of Republicans thought that was a bull**** move also.

What exactly is your point?

What does that have to do with anything we've been discussing over the last several weeks?
Point: the border bill was nothing more than a leverage that backfired. It wasn't needed, you know that, I know that, everyone knows that.

The politics you guys try and play are fruitless. Just roll up your sleeves and make stuff happen. That… is what makes Trump beloved!! It's also what makes people you support, frauds!!

Civ basks in willing ignorance. The border has always been been a manageable situation, even though the Biden administration and radical leftists said it was not. It just takes a strong leader, which the left has nowhere in their party right now.

The only power the left feels they have now is to cry when the right shows strength in leadership. Hence, crying about USAID, crying about investigating all of the different agencies, crying about Elon, etc... Their only strength is crying about what Trump or Elon has done. They are not serious people. Look no further than the NY prosecutors hissy fit and the minions that celebrate it.

We need more legal means of immigration into this country. A border bill is absolutely needed. The one presented wasn't perfect but it had good and bad things, like all competent legislation should have and it provided security and an increase of legal immigration

To your other point, you must've been happy when Biden and Obama unilaterally did the same thing Trump is now doing with executive orders? I recall it being not so much and that's the crux of the issue for me.

LEGAL IMMIGRATION. Why do we constantly conflate the two? They are obviously different.

And I'm sorry, we don't have enough immigrants in this country. We are retiring 4.4 million boomers monthly and the birthrate is lowering. We need more means of legal immigration not less, otherwise we will become Japan for the last 30 years. You good with that? Because I am not.

Heck #Gobbler will argue - as he has repeatedly in the past - that 2024 was merely a R vrs D election.......just business as usual in DC. #Matrix

Immigration may be needed, because birth rates are declining. So, my contention is that we have many qualified people that have crossed the border to help. People should go hire them…

There's no difference. It's political grandstanding. You guys are celebrating it because you think it makes the Trump DOJ look bad. In reality it just makes it look par for the course for Dems. Faux outrage when it comes to Trump. Silence when it comes to Dems. Same ole same ole.

The difference now is that you all don't control all media where you can silence all opposition. So now the hypocrisy is being called out and mocked.

And I do especially love the drama to them having to "put their name on it" and their "ethical obligations". Seriously, get the **** over yourselves. Nobody believes that bull**** anymore except people that post on Facebook. This isn't 2016.

Edit to add. Not you specifically in yourselves. Collective yourselves.
You guys are in a perpetual state of fantasizing Dem conspiracies so that you can "both-sides" away the indefensible cesspool you live in. Of course you put "ethical" in quotes... MAGA can't possibly make sense until that "bullsh**" is driven out of you.

The Republican prosecutors resigned because apparently non-MAGA conservatives still have a moral compass. Oh, and they literally heard Adams and Trump's people negotiating a quid pro quo that effectively made Trump mayor of NYC.
