1) That shipment was probably sacrificed
2) it doesn't save lives because drug addicts are going to seek out drugs, all we are going to do is make them pay more for it.
3) Fentanyl death are down this year, does that mean the war on Fentanyl is working? no! It means that a scarcity of product has now produced an increased amount of demand for Heroin and Cocaine, while driving up the price of Fentanyl.
So congrats, you save no lives, you've enriched the drug producers more money, and for that you've also risked the economy of the US.
