*Chef's kiss* for you two "debunking" this story that's been confirmed by the White House, and the CIA Director confirmed he was on the Signal chat. But hey, the Jews, right?

Heads need to roll. One of the people on this chat was in Russia at the time. It's crazy that you guys don't think this is a national security issue. They didn't use the proper channels. This same type of stuff is what happened in the Biden administration and nothing was done when it did. Trump, rightly so, was elected because he said this wasn't going to happen in his administration without accountability. Well, now is the test on that. I expect a 0% chance that anyone will be reprimanded for this egregious error.
Oh, right...this has been "confirmed" just like the "Trump is a muh Russian asset aka Russia collusion" hoax story was "confirmed". And how it was "confirmed by 50 intelligence officials" that Hunter's laptop was "fake" and "Russian disinformation". And just like it's been "confirmed" that there was "no fraud whatsoever in the 2020 election".

LOL

Even if Jeffrey Goldberg and the mythical "muh Russian agent" was put on this Signal chat (and was not "spoofed" on there via a hack), you can prove that Waltz or Hegeseth are the ones who personally put Goldberg and the muh Russian agent on there? Perhaps Biden's people had put these people on there, and they were holdovers.

It's all a big nothing burger. Lol at the TDS sufferers who think this is actually some "big deal".

No libtards....a REAL big deal is the communist Biden administration DELIBERATELY opening up our borders to invasion, so that 10+ million illegal aliens could invade the country over the last 4 years. THAT is REAL national security threat. But you Libtards and TDS sufferers don't care about that. You clutch your pearls over a nothing burger, that in all likelihood did not even happen as you have been told.

Did you ever call for "heads to roll" in the Biden administration for deliberately opening up the borders to an invasion of 10+ million people???

" I think the word we hear more often now is ACCOUNTABILITY.

And we need more of it. "
It's the Atlantic. They're reflexively anti-Trump, so yes, I probably going to ignore it even though I'm definitely not what you'd call a Trump bro.
Respectfully, that's exactly what you shouldn't do,. You should read the article and I'd love to know where the reporting is biased. Because I don't think it is, and it's an issues of the highest order of national security.

What if this reporter wasn't as cautious and then it cost American lives? People could've been killed because of this breach.
The Atlantic is a 100% biased news site. Now, I've been watching a few people and the whole idea of this being something it's not, could be real. Think about some of the storylines on this…

Roughly two hours before the strike happened, these people were discussing whether we should do this and making a decision…

An open chat text message that included a reporter..

At this point, it is what it is; however, I have some doubt. Not to say the reporter is lying; rather, he may being played by somebody.

The government confirmed that this was a real text thread. See quotes below from a Fox News article. It's understandable to be skeptical because it's so reckless and incompetent. The reporter himself thought it was a hoax for that reason.

How would you have reacted to this if it had been the Biden admin or Harris admin who committed this kind of blunder?

***

https://www.foxnews.com/media/trump-officials-accidentally-text-atlantic-journalist-about-military-strikes-apparent-security-breach

A National Security Council spokesperson told Fox News Digital it was reviewing the matter but acknowledged the breach.

"This appears to be an authentic message chain, and we are reviewing how an inadvertent number was added to the chain," NSC spokesperson Brian Hughes said. "The thread is a demonstration of the deep and thoughtful policy coordination between senior officials. The ongoing success of the Houthi operation demonstrates that there were no threats to troops or national security."
Yes, I read some and I've seen those things mentioned as well. Remember what I said above, it is what it is…. And, I have "some doubt", not that I totally disbelieve this story. Also, Pete Hegsteth has said, I believe, that it's not a real text. So, at this point, I'm ambivalent…

Regarding Biden, he was just a blunder waiting to happen, everyday…

Why is Hegsteh trustworthy here? Moreso than the Atlantic?

The Atlantic has had major issues, but low quality, non-factual news is spammed here daily. Yall aren't providing any scrutiny on sources that tell you what you want to hear
Why is The Atlantic trustworthy here? Moreso than Pete Hegsteth?

Are you providing scrutiny of sources that tell you what you want to hear???

Because the Whitehouse has corroborated the story. And they have evidence. Even his former colleagues at Fox are laughing at Hegseth's denial.

Yes I scrutinize the sources I read. I also read a range of sources that come at issues from right, left l, and center.

Reading only right wing sources is just fueling confirmation bias. It may feel good but it doesn't make you informed
Isn't reading only left wing sources just fueling confirmation bias?

BTW, I didn't provide my position; rather, I said I heard something that caused me some doubt. Doubt doesn't mean affirmative, does it? So you know what I listened to, here goes…

It's also been "confirmed" that Trump is a "34 time convicted felon".

LOL

And don't forget also "confirmed" that "Trump pissed on hookers in Russia" and that's how he became a "muh Russian collusion puppet".

If there is one thing we've learned, it's that these Deep State and commie Demonic-Rat created "scandals" that pop up at convenient times and are supposedly always going to be "the one" to "finally take down Trump" always turn out to be a lie, hoax, and fraud.

Well, perhaps so, though I don't remember the last time I picked up that rag.
Well the Administration has already verified the authenticity of the story, so now will you take it as seriously as it is needed?
Oh, I take the whole matter seriously, no doubt. But I think what you're really asking me is if I deem the entire story factually correct and that someone/thing associated with Trump screwed up in cataclysmic fashion and by extension all that Trump does is 100% deleterious to the national welfare, and no, I don't see it that way.

Waltz is saying he has never talked to Goldberg and does not know him. Now could a possible staff member have put him in his phone? Let's remember that Goldberg has hated Trump for a long time. He was wrong about Russia Collusion. He was wrong about "The very fine people on both sides" argument from Charlottesville. And finally he was wrong about "Military is for losers and suckers" comment that Trump supposedly made.

Now could it have been a screw up? Sure, I imagine everybody here as accidentally CC'd somebody on an email chain or in a group chat said something that one person was not to be in on.

I will give Goldberg credit for not saying anything until the mission was over, but with his history of misinformation during the first Trump term, then this could all be bogus too. Perhaps there is a leaker on staff with either Waltz or somebody else on the chat chain. I don't believe anything classified was released and we will see where it goes.

Trump has already acknowledged that Waltz is not being fired. Flynn had to get out early in 2017 for another bogus BS charge, so it would not surprise me if the left and the Deep State would try something nefarious again.

I'm not sure the tariffs will be the major or direct factor involved here, but I agree that if deflation gets underway in an unstoppable surge, jobs will be lost and tariffs might be a contributor to that. My take is that Trump, even more than Eisenhower, is going to deport the crap out of all the illegal job thieves to mitigate unemployment, though that may not be enough.
