These current "scandals" are nothing more than an attempt by folks who do not like the conservative nature of the court to try and delegitimize the institution as a whole as a political court and not a judicial court. This started in earnest with the abortion case.

The optics and ethics of these things are...not good. And that's the most charitable possible way to describe them.

If you think that the left complaining about Thomas' politics harms the institution more than the horrible optics/ethics of his and his wife's actions, we can agree to disagree.
