So the Biden regime ordered Twitter (and other Big Tech) to censor people exposing the truth on the Hunter laptop and other issues.
That's only a direct violation of the First Amendment, with the government blatantly violating peoples' right to freedom of speech. That's only one of the most serious crimes the government could commit. It's only one of our most sacred rights...freedom of speech.
So, ho hum, right? This tyrannical communist regime should just be able to do this, right...with no consequences? Because there are "much more serious crimes" that this communist government is concerned with, like people speaking out against rigged elections and mom's at school board meetings speaking out against drag queen story time.
So we have to silence those patriotic American "domestic extremists". Never mind that the REAL domestic terrorists are the ones running the government and trying to destroy the Bill of Rights and violate our sacred rights.
Only discovered this on Sunday

Revisionist History for the Sieve. We know you voted for Biden as you were convinced that he'd solve all our problems. You were convinced he'd keep us out of all military conflicts and solve world peace.......and provide an environment for American prosperity. Most importantly he would have a cordial relationship with the White House correspondents and there would never be a single mean tweet. Just admit it.Civilized said:Gulfstream4 said:FinsUp said:

Were the people that voted for Trump ashamed of themselves?
I hate Trump and think his presidency was damaging to the US in myriad ways but I don't think the people that voted for him in 2016 should be ashamed. Their other choice was Hillary Clinton, one of the most unlikeable politicians in modern history.
Biden voters in 2020 were faced with the same predicament. Both candidates sucked, just in different ways.
This is a limitiation/defect of a two-party system and lack of ranked-choice voting in primaries, not an indictment of voters that have to make a binary decision when it comes time to cast a vote in the general election.

Biden said Thursday he has spoken to Whelan's family and vowed his administration will continue working to get him released.
Whelan's family members confirmed it.
"This time, US government officials let us know in advance that Paul would be left behind [12/7/2022], unlike last April when they left him," David Whelan, Paul's brother, said in a statement. "That early warning meant that our family has been able to mentally prepare for what is now a public disappointment for us. And a catastrophe for Paul. I do not know if he is aware yet, although he will surely learn from Russian media. Our parents have had calls with him every day since his return to IK-17 on December 2d, and they will surely speak to him soon."
Still, Whelan's family welcomed news of Griner's release.
"I am so glad that Brittney Griner is on her way home," David Whelan, Paul's brother, said in a statement. "As the family member of a Russian hostage, I can literally only imagine the joy she will have, being reunited with her loved ones, and in time for the holidays. There is no greater success than for a wrongful detainee to be freed and for them to go home. The Biden Administration made the right decision to bring Ms. Griner home and to make the deal that was possible, rather than waiting for one that wasn't going to happen."
It is easy when you don't have the same hate in your heart some around here do towards those that have different beliefs. The Whelan family is showing true Christian values in that they want the best for everyone not just their immediate family. Some around here daily spew hate behind the guise of religion/Christianity.Civilized said:NCTrafficMan said:Why? Man that's a master class in grace in the face of extreme personal disappointment if I've ever seen it. Wow.
I can't imagine the grief and frustration the Whelan family is feeling, or having the depth of emotion to be so gracious towards another (deserving) family whose outcome was much better than your own.
It's not vacillating between the two. Obama was a major shift from my prior voting habits, but I voted strictly for what I thought would be a non-establishment POTUS. He turned out to be very much establishment. I also - foolishly - voted for a man because of his skin pigment thinking he could heal wounds. Of course, he did the opposite.Civilized said:Werewolf said:Revisionist History for the Sieve. I stopped reading right here. Nobody is this naive and this is not good-faith conversation.
No politicians solve all problems without creating others. Biden's presidency has actually been quite productive if you consider "productive" getting his legislation passed. But that doesn't mean that his leftist approach (or that of the far-left supporters he bent the knee to to get elected) doesn't create some problems for our country (very obviously).
Frankly I think vacillating between conservative and liberal governance provides some balance and order and prevents things from getting too far off the rails in either direction fiscally or socially.

This is still a completely idiotic trade. We release a Russian arms dealer during the Russian Ukraine war just to score some political points with a very specific portion of the population?
Putin is probably laughing and drinking his face off at how big of a moron Biden is.
