Sure it is. They have been negotiating that golden parachute for the family.

Who does Obama pick now? It has to be someone he can control, like Harris?

This time it's a wash. So I don't think the Dems are going to waste a big name. So I can see a Harris and Cooper type ticket. If they lose, then start making moves for the House and Senate. I just don't see them wasting a big name this go around.

Gosh I go outside to do a little yard work and come back in and my phone has been ringing with the news.

He is not fit to run(never was) and he is not fit to be President either(never was) but Kamala isn't running the show yet. He can endorse all he wants but she will not win without more cheating than took place in 2020. That BS letter he put out tells you what his staff thinks of We the People. They think we are stupid.

If you believe anything in that letter then I have some oceanfront property in Kansas to sell. There will be some on this board who would buy it.
Being an N. C. State fan builds great character!

I can see it. It's so late in the game why waste a big name or a up and comer? We know if they lose, the chances of winning again aren't great. But either way, the next few days and weeks are going to be interesting. But, at the end of the day, the heads will make the pick, not Biden.

She was in Raleigh a few weeks ago and met with Cooper. A buddy of mine who works with state reps says it wasnt just a courtesy meeting. Obviously have no idea what they talked about, but the thought was it could be a vetting meeting.

I dont know if Cooper has actual presidential aspirations, but if he wants a senate or house seat, it would be good exposure.

I dont see anyone with actual presidential aspirations taking the nomination for VP. They have to know its a long shot at best for Harris at this point

A pretty popular two-term governor from a purple state wouldn't be the craziest pick ever, I just think it's more likely to be someone younger and/or from the rust belt.

And just like that. Poof! 14.5 million voters disenfranchised by democrat party bigwigs. The party that's saving democracy right before our very eyes.

(He was clearly forced out so spare me the "He dropped out!" malarkey).

Could be. But why waste the pick? There is a very good chance that Trump wins this time, so start building for taking the House and Senate in two years? That's how I'd play it, keep my aces in my pocket.

I prefer him over Kamala personally also, I just don't think he can compete with her national profile electorally.
