His answer is a little strange, "Thank you all. Appreciate it." This is obviously an example where he's so tuned out that he didn't understand the question. In his defense he was up a lot later than normal so perhaps what ever drugs they pumped him full of so he could reasonably function were off a bit.
State dinner guests included Apple's Tim Cook, actor Robert DeNiro, Amazon's Jeff Bezos and his girlfriend Lauren Sanchez, as well as former President Bill Clinton and his wife Hillary Clinton in a billowy caftan.
Hillary was wearing a very ornate tent while Sanchez was wearing the latest from Frederick's of Hollywood.
