The Biden regime and the DNC will now be working with censors ("fact checkers") to censor social media and even your private text messages, on information and views on vaccines and other critical issues that counter their agenda.

Biden had to go to Philadelphia to defend the legitimacy of his Presidency!!! Hang on Joe... your legitimacy is in question and those states are making big moves to prove you right or wrong!

When you say neither party is interested in fixing... well, I agree. The establishment class (elites) in Washington are the real problem. I think one side is all about crippling the economy purposely and the other side cares more about their own pocket than they do ours...

Guess what? We elected them! I still encourage you to watch the video I posted as that will lay out how the whole system is screwed up. The Republican Party is controlled opposition, at least the leadership is.

100% correct. At the grassroots level, Republicans truly do want to dramatically shrink the size, power, and spending of government, and totally eliminate deficits and debt. And they truly do want to crack down hard on and stop illegal immigration. But, as you said, the higher levels of the party are infiltrated and controlled by "RINOs" or "elitists" or whatever you want to call them -- who are actually closet Leftists and betray their conservative supporters by promoting policies that advance the socialist and "globalist" (New World Order) agendas. That's why, for instance, the Republicans did not repeal Obamacare in the first few years of Trump's Presidency...and why Ronald Reagan and George W. Bush (and John McCain) supported amnesty for illegal aliens. Just yesterday, I saw that Republican Senators Thom Tillis and John Cornyn (TX) are now supporting the DACA amnesty for illegals and trying to team up with the Democrats to pass a bill for it.

Gotta love Social Security.

All the government had to do was take that money and put it in an individual savings accounts for each person in the amount that they contributed and then invested it in any fund that was tied to the market. The market has historically grown by 3% annually and everyone who paid into that particular system wouldn't have any sort of issue with retiring and then getting their money. Spouses should get the money of someone if they died, and if both people were dead then that money should go to any surviving children. It would of been that simple but the government is incapable of any type of logical thinking. Instead they spend it without thinking.

I did a little bit of math and without calculating and of the interest I would have made off of the money I should be looking at between 350k-400k just off of what the government takes from me if i decided to retire at 65. if you calculate the 3% a year return on average I should have over 700k that I should be able to collect in social security. Even if you take that money and break it out evenly on the assumption that I would live to 100 with the interest i should be looking at between 30k-32k a year just on my social security. Instead the government gets involved and i would get 12k-13k a year.

What a damn joke man.

I can break out Medicate/medicaid as well....but i think i've made my point on just the social security issue

Quote:

'We're facing the most significant test of our democracy since the Civil War. That's not hyperbole. Since the Civil War." The president of the United States, a man long known for hyperbole, doth protest too much. Biden's speech Tuesday at the National Constitution Center yet again invoked the January 6 riot at the Capitol, but his theme was that new voting and election laws passed by Republican state legislatures are a "21st century Jim Crow assault" on voting rights. This is irresponsible and dishonest; worse, it is dangerous.
Quote:

One of the few specifics offered in his speech was the claim that, "in Texas . . . [the] Republican-led state legislature wants to allow partisan poll watchers to intimidate voters and imperil impartial poll workers." The Texas law does no such thing; indeed, the current draft of the bill requires poll watchers to take an oath "that I will not disrupt the voting process or harass voters in the discharge of my duties."

President "Unity" lies with impunity. Democrats have called the filibuster "racist" and then choose to flee Texas to avoid their elected duty to vote in the Texas Special Session. What an incredible mess our politics have become.

Actually, the debt ceiling is around the corner (a couple of months). Watch... the Democrats and the MSM will say the Republicans are putting the credit of the US at risk. Ask yourself this, didn't they say that during the Obama admin. What changed? Nothing got fixed, and it will not again, unless you call your congressional people and tell them to stop the damn spending and don't increase the debt ceiling. It's the only thing we have left!!!

Remember, the US credit is you, it's me, it's everyone here... We can't afford to extend the debt ceiling!

The biggest scam was selling SS as a retirement system you "pay into" to receive your benefit. It is and always has been a direct wealth transfer from workers to retirees.

If it was a valid investment, it's a terrible one. You've gone through the numbers already but it's about the worst way you could save money. Individual retirement accounts that were set up automatically and could be opted out of would function much, much better for the vast majority

Eh, the debt ceiling is something that should not exist in a responsible, well functioning government. However we don't have that government so I get why it exists. It's one of the only bargaining chips to be had by those wanting less spending.

Very few in congress actually care anymore. Many talk about fiscal responsibility only when in the minority and don't govern that way.

True

The problem is that without some form of SS 60-65% of elderly people no longer working would have absolutely any income and would end up either living with children, in assisted living facilities, or homeless.

There are three issues in play.

  • The first is that the government is run by a bunch of idiots who can't manage anything and are more than happy to give away money with no thought at all because it isn't their money. I promise you that these politicians aren't spending money out of their own pockets the same way.
  • The second is that people have no financial literacy. People have no idea how the market works, compounding interest, savings accounts, or budgeting and not living from check to check. People at large seem to think that they should be able to take a low paying job and be given enough money for that job to have the type of lifestyle that they want. Everyone yells to raise the minimum wage to 15 an hour but the reality is that what they do isn't worth 15 an hour. People aren't going out and getting life skills to make them more than the minimum wage that they are making. Because of this people aren't able to put together their own retirement.
  • Politicians have no problem buying votes with other people's money, which is what was done with social security. The offer of "free" money regardless of what you have done for the rest of your life really gets people to vote a certain way

Quote:

It boggles the mind that we're hearing such proposals made with a straight face in an era when chief executives are themselves such prodigious liars. A Ministry of Truth under the control of a guy who says voting in the U.S. in 2021 is worse than it was under Jim Crow? Are we turning into China, where artists are under standing orders to "adhere to correct views of history, the nation, the country, and culture"?

If the government can work with Facebook, there is nothing stopping it from also working with Google, Twitter, Apple, CNN, and the New York Times to enforce its vision of the truth. What Psaki is suggesting amounts to the White House's asserting the right to censor any information it doesn't like.

Labeling assertions "disinformation" is in most cases simply begging the question; virtually everything is disputed. Liberals used to grasp that the way to win an argument is to have the facts on your side, not appeal to an authority figure to gag your opponent.
Quote:

Whenever politicians ring the alarm bell, it's almost always because they want more power. Shame on the many journalists who are nodding vigorously along as the White House proposes to shred the First Amendment.
This administration becomes more Orwellian by the day.

The hearing yesterday in Arizona proved fraud without a shadow of a doubt. Now more states are going to do a forensic audit. So buckle up for the next few months. The media will try to distract you with lots of false flags. Hopefully some of the people on the left will wake up and see what is happening to our Republic.

I hate to be the one to say it but states aren't going to pull back senators or anyone else. If the GOP had a single ounce of fight in them they'd of done something months ago while the vote certification was going on. They didn't and my guess is that most of the GOP politicians are more that happy that Biden is in office. Gives them something to fundraise on and another excuse for why they don't do anything their voters want them to

Cowboy, you're probably right; however, the Senate in Arizona looks to be damn adamant to fix their election. I guess we will see how far there're willing to go... The lady Senator (can't think of her name) appears to have bigger balls than the men.

Also, keep an eye on Doug Mastriano in PA. Former military guy who is all but daring people to get in his way!
