Who deleted Werewolf's last post in this thread? What possible reason could there have been to do that?

Why is there this incessant need to delete people's posts around here and censor things?? How does the freedom to speak one's mind "hurt" anyone??

It's interesting, I obviously work with literally hundreds of doctors, staff, admin, and other health care professionals, and other than many of us being past the mask stuff, I have never heard once the medical tyrrany nonsense. It's as if we have no freedom of thought and flexibility with management decisions. Like admin is watching over our shoulders and telling us what to do based on pressures from Big Pharma and sleepy Joe. Politics doesn't shape our medicine. We are not withholding care that radical sites seem to feel is so effective. Most of us would do about anything to see this crap go away, and if ivermectin and HCQ had proven effective in vivo I assure you it would have been used. Like decadron and oxygen, which is cheap and not reimbursed but used universally, it would have been used. And I'll add, and this is coming from a conservative that has never punched a dem ticket, I miss the coherent and thoughtful input of civ and hokie and any other guy here that has been run off by constant berating and labeling as leftist Marxist sheep whatevers. It certainly beat the constant rumble bs. And I notice many of the moderates are gone too. This thread used to be one of the very best ips had to offer. Now it's the post-glory years BY. Sorry for the rant, but it certainly seems I'm not alone. A lot of players here seem to have hit the portal.

If some posters have decided to not post here as much, that's their problem. No one is stopping them from posting here. And if they don't want to post because other posters are posting information that they disagree with, and they find those views "distasteful", then tough. Grow a backbone.

The answer is NOT to falsely label that poster a "spammer" and then whine to the mods to censor that person.

Werewolf has been engaging in a very thoughtful discussion with you over the last day or so in particular. And yet he just had one of his posts deleted for some unknown reason.

What's worse? Choosing not to post here because of the "inconvenience" of having other people countering your argument and post views you strongly disagree with...or not even being able to engage in such a debate because your posts are removed?

I am still around and post occasionally. I am glad to see you are still around as well. I have also enjoyed the input of Civilized, Hokiewolf, and others who have been attacked for political reasons. They are serious posters and I enjoy having a dialog with them, even if I might not agree with them on everything. I am willing to consider their points of view, since I do believe they are interested in having a constructive discussion. Of course, I have always valued your input and perspective over these past couple of years.

I might post some more in the future. I still follow the developments regarding Covid-19, the studies, possible treatments, and data very closely. I have been busy with my day job, traveling on weekends to deal with aging parents, and preparing for retirement from my full-time job later this Summer. I actually have a big trip planned (shortly after retiring) to do some significant wildlife and landscape photography in July, so I will be off the grid for a couple of weeks. I'm heading to Wyoming, Montana, and South Dakota for a couple of weeks. I will be back in time to photograph the start of Fall football in August.

The problem with this thread, and with social media discourse in general, is that there are some folks who insist on hammering nails with a sledgehammer. If folks don't believe one hundred percent the way they do, then they are the enemy. The forcing of every issue to be yes/no, black/white leaves little room for nuanced discussion, despite the fact that the truth most often exists somewhere in the middle.

Listening to Devin Nunes yesterday talking about the Truth Social site. He says its members are amazed at what it feels like not to be censored. It can be quite eye opening for many who have been floundering in the matrix. A lot of guys on here aren't ready to come out and feel the need of a security blanket. They lash out when alternative info leaks into their safe space and even resort to removing content that exposes their weak positions.

Dr. Peter McCullough.......who is he?

What this thread was about sowing fear of the virus. What was happening with the narrative was it was flushing people over the cliff. Like I said, I may have been a bit aggressive as I read several persons contemplating vaccinating their teenage daughter in one case I believe and getting a booster in another as the fear engine was reved. I think the fear engine has been identified for what it is and the line has shrunk to near zero for the poison booster. They see the push for a vaccine passport and understand the plethora of dangers posed with such a system.

As a medical professional will continue with your goose-step with a phase 3 of an Operation Lock-Step? Seems to be a logical way to clean up the coming evidence.

The Novavax vaccine, Nuvaxovid, is not yet approved in the US. It is in use in the UK, some EU countries and just received approval in Japan. I think they're expecting a decision by the FDA by the end of this month.

Still around. Not much lately to dip my toes in.

Still go through the data weekly and think we need to move on. Everything these days is basically as seasonally expected.

Post occasional thoughts on Twitter when media gets hysterical.... But keep on keeping on.

As far as retirement goes, I will hit my 38th anniversary of my first corporate job out of college in a couple of weeks. I never thought I would make it past 35 years, so I am amazed I have gotten this far. The last couple of years have been a grind, running a major, multinational project for my company - so I am looking forward to a break. The project will continue, even after I retire and they are not happy I am leaving. I might still do some part-time work, but nothing like I do today and I am planning to expand my photography work beyond sports photography. I have a good friend that retired last year (he is same age as me) after 37 years and he only made it two months until he got part-time job. Hopefully, I can make it a little longer :-)

No venom as far as I am aware, but in addition to moth protein, it also uses tree bark (used as an adjuvant). Sounds like something a witch would create. I am sure that will lead to some conspiracy about it being created by witches, so it must be a product of Satan ;-)

In all seriousness, one good thing about the vaccine is it does NOT contain polyethylene glycol. This is the component that caused some people to have an allergic reaction to the current vaccines and it is why it is helpful for those people to have an alternative without this component.

I've had issues with NIH leadership pushing this "masks work" crap since 2020, and I've got the professional credentials to back my opinion. Not that they care, but then again, this is why the nations' opinion of CDC and NIH is also crap.

I agree, I think that early on, masks should have been suggested by not mandated. The problem was when the science showed that the effectiveness of cloth masks and surgical masks was almost not existent, the mandate wasn't changed but it was doubled down, mainly because bureaucrats and politicians had the hubris to think they could stop a pandemic with government mandates.
