Anecdotally and not the same, I've gone into Afib twice since the vaccine. Never before. Now, i have it in my genes as my dad and mom both get it, but they did much older. Additionally, I had contributing factors (alcohol, caffeine, and dehydration). But I've never gone into afib before, and have done so twice now since being vaccinated. Once for 4 days.

None of the available vaccines are live attenuated viruses. mRNA vaccines don't produce particles that are shed. Only the astrazeneca has viral vectors, but even then the risk of shedding is nil. Yeah, I don't think I ever said it is not possible for the lab escape theory to have occurred. Did not mean to if I did.

When this was first being discussed, I believe I put it on the same level as the bats spreading it to something in the meat market and then exposing humans at that point as we have seen this happen before with various other viruses. However, the evidence continues to point more and more towards the lab escape theory as we learn more about the first events. Of course, as many have discussed, China is not going to open their doors to all of the information that they have.

I find the reaction to this WSJ article that kicked this off very interesting. Everything that's is new is actually not new. What changed is that the lab leak narrative now has to be acknowledged. I never understood why anyone claiming they were following science would discredit the most likely theory that this virus was released from the lab so quickly other than for political expediency.

It's beyond the pale that the media and some on the left seems intent on protecting or helping China with their propaganda. It's like during the healthcare debate when they were stating that the healthcare in Cuba was better than the US. Sure, if you don't like pesky things like sterile ORs, tylenol, and sutures.

I suspect he's more of a puppet than a clown, tho when it gets down to brass tacks, it doesn't really matter.

Likely a really good doctor who has been forced to wear so many hats he's more like a Hollywood actor who loses his way and can't figure out who he really is anymore. But that's just a guess from someone who has chosen not to watch or read more than 2 minutes of anything he's ever said.

Some of the people who have tried to downplay the story did it, not for political reasons, but for monetary reasons. There are many scientists who are dependent on the ability to work with China and their grants and funding depend on this ability (some mentioned in the article linked below). The mainstream media just looked to the people who had a monetary interest in downplaying the potential lab leak story as good sources and they did this for many reason. One of the reasons was definitely political and they used the statement of "experts" to help sell their story. I will refer everyone back to an extensive article I posted a few weeks ago on this entire topic and I made my thoughts know at the time of the posting.

Dr. Fauci went before the Senate a couple of weeks and told falsehoods with regards to "gain of function" research and the involvement of NIH in funding the research at the Wuhan lab. The recent articles are interesting, but they do not contain any "new" information. The information they are posting was discussed in the article I posted. I am posting the link again for anyone who wants to read it. It is extremely detailed and has a lot of documentation that backs up the story. I will warn you - the article is very long and gets into details on the "gain of function" research and how they can be made to be more infectious to different species.

In the end, we will never have absolute proof. The Chinese government has secured the lead researcher's lab notes. All we have are some very good leads and a lot of interesting clues. Having the notes is the missing portion that would tie this all to the Wuhan virology lab and for this reason, they will NEVER be made public.
