I mean kind of. Garino and Black were 2 bullpen arms that we recruited that just arent good. Henitz too. Is it lack of coaching/development? Was it a bad evaluation? Who knows. But Andrews or Cooper was going to be our Sunday guy and like the other guy was going to be a midweek or bullpen guy. But the entire staff is very average right now. All of that solid depth we thought we could have going into the year just didn't pan out.

Our OOC schedule REALLY fooled us. Hemrick was very solid the first 6 or so weeks, and boom- not ready for ACC play. Garino has been bad the last month +. Black and Heinz, the same thing. Had good outings against really bad teams, but just aren't good enough.

I'm no longer having fun.

Left from work and we were up 8-7, come back less than an hour later and we are down 15-8.

Rough

We have 1 pitcher on the entire pitching staff capable of consistently getting ACc hitters out.

Fitting end to a less than stellar season. Injuries took away what could have been but that is part of the game just hard to be consistent when your top 2 pitchers miss a good portion of the season and your SS misses several series as well. Just a tough year unfortunately.

You're just getting out played. Out hit, out pitched, their defense has been better.

Is what it is. For some stupid reason I have kept holding out hope State could catch lightning in a bottle. But it isn't in the cards.

You win one game against Stanford, VT, or win a game you aren't supposed to and you're in the tournament. But they have pissed down their leg every chance they have gotten this year. I shouldn't be surprised

Yep just not a good team or rather pitching staff really.

There you go another solo.

This team can hit with the best of them when there is no one on base.

Helps the stats but doesn't do a ton for winning.

I never had much desire to see this team get a three seed somewhere, lose a close game one, score 15 runs and win game two against a four seed and then get blown out.

This team would get smoked in a regional anyway. You can't give up 10+ runs a game and expect anything.

This team s not a tournament team. Even prior to pitching injuries they continuously underachieved. Terrible season. I hope it is over. Should be. No excuses.

Whoa, just looked at ESPN for update on score. So, we just collapsed and played out way out of Last 4 In?

That was ugly…

Really embarrassing showing today. If we were on the bubble, this game should be the pin that pops it. Even before the pitching injuries, the sum was less than the parts for this group. Just never could get it together this season.

At least we held them to only three touchdowns
