He def. looks bad today so far. Here are the in conference numbers in comparison with Fraasman this season though:
Wiggins .294 avg, .559 slg, .415 ob, while Fraasman is at .179 avg, .286 slg, .223 ob..... So Wiggins has not been great I agree 100%, but better than Bargo and Fraasman this season at the plate and its not close in some of those categories. That must be why the coaches are playing him at this point....
This is incredibly misleading for Wiggins. His conference production came in double digit ballgames against dreadful pitching with 2 exceptions.
Bargo has been significantly better than him as of late. Fraasman can at least defend very well and has been here before.
