Pack 9 opens ACC play March 14th as it welcomes Virginia Tech to Doak Field this weekend, March 14 and DH on the 15th

March 14th 6 PM (W 11-1)
March 15th (DH) GM 1 PM, GM 2 4 PM


All games will be televised on the ACCXN

Gonna learn a ton on Friday. Brett Renfrow is a top arm in the 2026 draft class. Will throw hard and attack us. Held GT to 1 earned in 6 innings last weekend.

Getting this one back to the top. Hate to call our first ACC series a "must win", but looking at our schedule the rest of the season, this one is pretty critical! Hopefully we can continue to scratch out enough runs to support the great pitching we have seen the last couple of weeks!

WEEKEND SCHEDULE UPDATE

Sunday's game between NC State and Virginia Tech has been moved to a Saturday doubleheader.

Game 1- 1 p.m.
Game 2- 4 p.m., or 45 minutes after the conclusion of game 1

Sunday's ticket is good for 1 p.m.
Saturday's ticket will be good for 4 p.m.

Can only hope the zone is this tight both ways. Some bad misses, but some really competitive ones too that are frequently strikes with other umpires.

I actually didn't think Fritton was that bad. A lot of his misses seemed to be 50/50 and he was hitting his spots. Credit VT for some good at bats.

Walks and errors usually result in runs. Except when we are up to bat lol

I thought VT had 1 decent AB, the single where Dom was up 0-2 and he fought a couple tough pitches off. Of course some tough misses, but still misses. Gotta be a little sharper going forward

Yup. And he should. Any half decent arm has shut this lineup down by making us actually hit. And Renfrow is well above half decent.
