Renfrow is probably the 3rd best guy we will see this year with Knaak and DeCaro ahead. Blanco at UVA is up there too but the stuff isn't quite the same. That's big time to prove it can be done.
Also, there's no better duo than Andrew and Andrew calling baseball games.

It really has been. Someone posted in a thread last week the walk numbers have been amazing. I need to go look at the first 7/8 games compared to the last 10. No free passes is great to watch. These guys have the stuff to get them out by attacking

First 7 games= 43 free passes (walks + HBP). I know not all HBP are created equal, but I added them.
Since then, 11 games (starting with the Richmond loss where we pitched well)= 23 free passes

Just an incredible performance by Dom tonight. And the bats plus power were on display. What a way to start the series.

Not to be understated - walks and errors are killers. With our pitching, if we play clean in the field, we will be on just about any/every game.

Walks and errors always kill you. HBP is the same as a walk. You cut down your free passes and play good defense then you have a chance. Yes you have to get get good pitching, but throwing strikes is the way. If they hit it they hit it, but make them swing the bat.pack2010 said:
