I just came on to see where we are playing and I find out that we are not. What a crock of BS this is. The NCAA is and has been against us forever. When we exposed the Heels in 2010 or so they have just ratcheted it up to screw us every time. I'm sick and tired of this ***** Yes we lost those games to Wake and UNC but we made a run in the tournament and and our RPI went way up. No way they can leave us out without there being animosity towards the school.
Boo and Woodson won't say a thing. They are establishment members of the NCAA.
No they won't say much in public other than what Boo said about being disappointed. They will be professional, as they should, and operate outside the public eye.
And that is why the fan base will be disappointed in both of them. UNC Cheats for 30 years and it was all true. They lawyer up and fight and the fix was in from the start. We get screwed constantly by the NCAA and Woodson and Corrigan are "good little soldiers" and say "Thanks can we have another." If they are not going to fight for the University, they need to be fired.
Randy Woodson is on NCAA Board of Governors and the NCAA Division 1 Transformation Committee. Boo is chair of the CFP Selection Committee. These guys can't just blast out a lot of mean tweets and still be seen as leaders who can have an influence for change.
What more do you want him to say in public than this? "We are shocked and disappointed that our baseball team did not receive a bid to the NCAA Tournament. We hurt for our student-athletes and coaches who worked so hard and who we believe deserved this opportunity."
Would you rather they have a cussing hissy fit and be seen as whinya$$e$ or work behind the scene in a professional manner to make sure the ACC is represented on the selection committee in the future?
Sure UNC used lawyers to fight the NCAA, there is a mechanism for that. Do you think that there is a mechanism where every team who thinks they are slighted by a selection committee can sue? We would never have any tournaments if that was the case.
