*****Today's item is a NC State basketball signed by Wolfpack legend T.J. Warren!T.J. Warren only spent two years at NC State, but he more than left his mark on the Wolfpack program.
The son of former NC State wing Tony Warren, T.J. arrived with high expectations and didn't disappoint. He was extremely efficient as a true freshman and blossomed into the best player in the ACC his sophomore season.
Warren averaged an ACC-best 24.9 points that season and chipped in 7.1 rebounds while also leading the conference in steals during league play. Warren was named the 2014 ACC Player of the Year by the coaches and the media, becoming just the sixth NC State player to win the award (David Thompson, Rodney Monroe, Julius Hodge, Ronnie Shavlik, and Lou Pucillo).
He was also named second team All-American by The Sporting News and third team All-American by NABC. A unanimous first team All-ACC selection, Warren became just the third player, and first non-post player, in ACC history to lead the conference in scoring and field goal percentage.
He was a one-man wrecking crew for the Wolfpack, as Warren led team in points, minutes, rebounds and steals. His strong play was critical to the Wolfpack reaching the NCAA Tournament that season.
Warren declared early for the NBA draft after the NCAA Tournament and was selected by Phoenix with the No. 14 overall pick in the 2014 NBA draft.
