Today's item is a Red NC State jersey signed by Wolfpack legend Rodney Monroe!
NC State's all-time leading scorer (2,551 points), Monroe is one of the best pure scorers to play in the ACC. Monroe was a two-time first-team All-ACC selection (1989/1991) and a two-time All-American (1990/1991).
His best season came as a senior when Monroe led the ACC in scoring at 27.0 points per game. For his efforts, Monroe was named ACC Player of the Year that season.
Monroe, who teamed up with point guard Chris Corchiani to form the famous "Fire And Ice" duo, was also named to the All-ACC Tournament team in 1988 and 1991.
He was selected by the Atlanta Hawks in the second round of the 1991 NBA Draft.
