The Pack Women pick up their first commitment in the 2027 class, a member of the NSAF/Nike Elite and 3X WA State XC Champion (with a chance for 4) and 4X WA State Champion on the track … Sophia Rodriguez. I chatted with her parents at NCAAs last November when they were watching her sister Victoria run for WFU. I've been waiting on this one, but I'm hoping there's one more to come …

Little strange that sisters from Seattle both choose to move to North Carolina for college, but I'll take it.

HANNAH GAPES REMAINS UNDEFEATED!

The NC State superstar just secured her third-straight win of the season by earning the ACC individual title!

Gapes clocked a VERY fast time of 18:23 (6k) en route to gold.

Clemson's Silvia Jelelgo (2nd) and Duke's Victoria Garces (3rd) rounded out the top-three of the individual results.

I saw the race live but couldn't post after, but congrats to Hannah for her individual win and to the rest of the girls for their 8th straight ACC Title. Coach Henes and her staff are keeping them rolling. Now we got Regionals and Nationals on the horizon and hopefully the girls will peak and get them both done!

WELL DONE LADIES!!

GO PACK!!

Women put on a solid performance. Gapes is a true threat for the individual national title, but the team is gonna have a tough go if Hartman and Englehardt don't return. BYU beat them at PreNats without Hedengren, so if they get Hedengren and we don't have Hartman, we don't stand a chance.

Men, burn it down. It's embarrassing at this point.

I was just going by what they said on the ACC broadcast. My apologies if it's not the case.

NC State Women: I might phrase it slightly differently, but you are on the right path sir. If BYU can stay healthy, Taylor Rohatinsky's TRO-now-preliminary Injunction, which granted her a 5th year of eligibility, makes BYU the prohibitive favorite over WVU, NC State, NAU, Alabama, Iowa State, Oregon, Florida, etc. I won't be surprised if BYU Riley Chamberlin files a similar suit in the same court with the same judge and gets a similar TRO in the next few days. If that happens, it's game over. That said, Jenna Hutchins is scuffling a bit and her season could end any day now, like some of her other seasons have.

NC State Men: It's waaaaay past time. Sadly, 2026 is Ryan Hill's first year coaching at Cal (he's only been there 2 1/2 months), so I doubt he would come back this soon. He hasn't even gone through a single recruiting cycle yet. The end is near, but I'm not sure it happens in 2026-2027.

They grew up in PA. Dad's work took them to WA for high school.
