Fleur Templier is no longer on the XC or Track & Field roster.

The rumor is she had to return to France. It is unclear whether this was a visa issue or personal/family stuff.

She finally posted an update to Insta. Sounds like it was a personal choice. Really hoped we could see what Fleur could do over the next 2 years. Maybe we'll get to see her on the international stage in the years to come.

At the Joe Piane invitational, @PackXC continued its strong start to the season, with both the men and women finishing in the top three.

The women's team placed first, and Hannah Gapes took first overall in the 5K.

TODAY, we will get a good look at much of the Women's competition for the podium when they compete at the Nuttycombe Invitational (#3NAU, #4 UNM, #5 ISU and #9 WVU) and the Bill Dellinger Invitational (#7 Oregon). Both meets (4+ hours of XC racing) will be broadcast live in their entirety B2B on runnerspace.com provided you have a subscription. If you don't subscribe, some/all of the races will likely be posted to runnerspace's YT channel in the days to come.

NEXT WEEK, we will line up with #2 BYU and #6 Notre Dame at Pre-Nationals in Terre Haute, whereas #8 OkSU and #10 Alabama will host their own little home meets against weak fields.

Two weeks later are conference championships. Two weeks after that are NCAA Regionals and 8 days later is the only race that truly matters … again in Terre Haute. Can you feel the tension ratcheting up?

Happy Friday!

West Virginia wins at Nuttycombe. They had a score of 66 with 5 runners in the top 25. Florida in second, NAU in 3rd and New Mexico in 4th. All three teams were over 100 points.
