I normally wouldn't try to bash a "journalist", but there are a couple glaring and really bad errors in this article. Number one, UNC was ranked #5 all of last week and in the rankings just released today. And UNC is not the "clear favorite to win the ACC", as they were just beaten 4-3 by Virginia a couple day ago (on Sunday, March 29). I think it's more accurate to say that the Wolfpack, Virginia, and UNC are the clear three favorites, and any of those three teams are about as likely to win it.
Furthermore, the Wolfpack most certainly faces at least one big test here at the end of the regular season. We still have to play Virginia, who is currently ranked #9 in the country (one spot higher than us), on the road on April 12th. And I would argue that Duke is a little bit of a test as well, as we haven't beaten them in forever...but we
should beat them given that they are not quite as good as they usually are in years past, and currently ranked #24.
