For anyone planning to come to the match at Cary Tennis Park, it's $15 for an all-day pass at the tournament (to watch all matches going on at the facility). These can be purchased at a tent located after you walk into the complex, and are getting near the courts. Free parking is also available across the street from the complex at Green Hope Elementary school.

Incredible win today over UNC (#6 in the country). The Wolfpack women had a couple tough losses at the end of the regular season (Duke, Virginia), but I thought they could have won those matches, and that this team is still very good.

In the unfinished singles match today,Tori Osuigwe was up 5-4 in the 3rd set tiebreaker and looked like she probably was going to win. So it could have very well been a final score of 5-2 if played out. Tori had a 5-2 lead in the 3rd set and should have closed it out earlier, but she was still looking strong in the tiebreak.

Even though we lost to Virginia about a week ago (on the road), we can easily win the championship match tomorrow against them -- and having a pro-Wolfpack "home" crowd in Cary can only help. It's such a thin line in these duals among top teams....just a few points here an there decide the entire thing. Just like today, with Mia beating Brantmeier 7-5 in the third set and the Osuigwe match going to a 3rd set breaker.
