I knew that was coming about 4 months in advance because I had an inside connection at the Hendrick BMW dealership in Hickory, and he and Rick had been up there together twice and then Jr. came back up on his own and received delivery of a custom 5 series if I remember correctly. Something I ended up being actually correct about for once… oh, and I knew the girl from the Coor's distributorship in Hickory that dated Tim Richmond, so I knew all those stories before they became public as well.

Hamlin was on the radio asking if they are scared to talk to Ty. Was funny.

Yea, I'm not sure I would agree with Gibbs pulling over to give Hamlin the position. That said, I don't know what protocol is anymore…

What is happening to Blaney on these pit stops? He was turning the best laps at the end of that last stage.
Glad to see Byron being far more consistent so far today, but I don't get any sense that he can actually win.
Winner comes from the threesome of Logano, Larson and Blaney in no particular order, unless something really weird happens.

I'm not sure what's going on with the 12. And yes, I see the 22, 5, or 12 winning.

That was a pretty good race. Congrats to Ryan Blaney

Agree, I thought it was on of the better New Hampshire races.

Pretty damn good race from a fan perspective I thought. Whatever they did combination-wise to come up with that result was 100% the right call.

NASCAR has parted ways with race director Jusan Hamilton. NASCAR confirmed he is no longer with the company but would not elaborate. My understanding is the decision was not performance related.
