No. 21 NC State gymnastics posted the fourth score of 197+ in program history on Saturday afternoon as the Wolfpack delivered a quad-meet victory over Iowa State, Northern Illinois and Temple with a 197.000 in Reynolds Coliseum.

The Pack's 197.000 was its second-highest score of the season and the third-highest total of the Kim Landrus era at NC State, with the Pack now having posted back-to-back scores of 197+ in its home arena.

Iowa State followed the Wolfpack in second place at 196.700, while Northern Illinois ended the afternoon in third at 195.200 and Temple closed out the competition in fourth at 194.425.

The afternoon was highlighted by fifth-year senior Emily Shepard registering her 50th career score of 9.9+, tabbing the 49th of her tenure at NC State on bars with a 9.950 and ending the contest on floor at 9.925. Shepard tied a teammate for first place on both events en route to claiming her sixth all-around crown of the Pack's 2024 campaign at 39.525.

NC State landed first-place finishes on two events, with Shepard tying Katie Harper who registered a personal-best 9.950 on bars while Katya Edwards erased her previous career high on floor to match Shepard at 9.925. Shepard and Edwards were additionally tied with Iowa State's Kaia Parker who contributed to the three-way knot on the podium.

Vault (49.175)
The Pack's afternoon started on vault where it matched its second-highest score in the event this season. The Pack only counted scores of 9.825 or higher, with Maddie Hall and Alexis Ortega each registering a set of new season highs with a 9.825 and 9.850, respectively.

Ortega landed on the podium in a tie for third place alongside teammate Ashley Knight who matched her 9.850, while Shepard and Chloe Negrete each tabbed a 9.825 to tie Hall.

Bars (49.400)
NC State's best event of the day came during its second rotation where the Wolfpack fired its second-highest score of the season and its fourth-best score on the event all-time. The Pack was led by a pair of first-place finishers, with Shepard and Harper's 9.950 marks each serving as a meet-high. Sophomore Madeline Reid contributed a podium finish as well for the Wolfpack, with Reid tabbing a new career-best score of her own with a 9.925 in just her fourth routine of the season. Ortega had an impressive showing as well for NC State, with a 9.850 matching her best score on the event in Reynolds Coliseum this season. A leadoff 9.725 from bars specialist Kailee Adomaites rounded out the scoring effort from the Pack in one of its best rotations this season.

Beam (49.100)
Beam was one of three events where the Wolfpack only counted scores of 9.8+, with NC State tallying four scores of 9.825 during its third rotation. Ortega, Shepard and Negrete each matched beam specialist Macy Jennings at 9.825, while a 9.800 from Harper secured the Pack's fourth-straight meet counting a 49.100 or higher on beam.

Floor (49.325)
NC State trailed Iowa State 147.750-147.675 as the Pack headed to floor but edged the Cyclones 49.325-48.950 in the final rotation with Iowa State on vault to push its undefeated streak to seven-straight meets, stretching back to the Pack's ACC opener on Jan. 19 at North Carolina.

Edwards' personal-best of 9.925 secured the first podium finish of her career, while Shepard matching her one spot later in the lineup boosted the pair of Pack gymnasts into a tie for first place. Negrete anchored at 9.825 while Knight recorded her fifth-straight score of 9.8+ on floor at 9.850. A leadoff 9.800 from Hall was her second-highest score of the season in the event, with the Pack having now posted a 49+ on floor in eight straight meets, dating back to the Sprouts Farmers Market Collegiate Quad on Jan. 13.
